The base Barkov has been one of the best cards in the game, in my opinion. Such an underrated and powerful shot, amazing awareness and faster than you'd think. This Protect The Net upgrade makes him the best center in the game, I think. He's just unreal defensively.
Howdy Sleeves.. has communication improved from EA devs on the probably hundreds questions and suggestions made by game changers? Specifically any update on the storage set? Really sick of sifting through dozens of useless BND players, and adding storage set is literally almost as easy as copy paste code from 24…there’s really no excuse for this not being added yet imo. Thanks and keep up the great work, glad to see you still on that grind despite how ass hut is now.. nice they got rid of icon passing so now we can do absolutely nothing about the AI totally ignoring our input direction…thanks EA, negative enhancements as usual
I personally think the Protect the net set is just great to simply have the Turbo defense second synergy activated. I plan on using my TOTW ovr 84 to craft more Protect the net ovr 87.
Hey sleeves do you think keeping the 5 - 84’s is going to be more valuable for TOTY than having one 87? I don’t really want any of the 87’s I’m just trying to get the most value for TOTY.
I made the Weegs and Barky yesterday, had a stockpile of trade fodder and coins. I decided to make two of the 86 BND protect the net players in hopes of getting the Rasmus Andersson. I instead got TWO BOBBY CLARKES… I can’t do anything with them because of the stupid BND stipulation. There’s literally 10 86’s and I got the same one twice, pain
Owen Power is pretty close to S tier for me. 6’6 and can move like that? With great defensive stats. He’s been a horse for me on the back end. I’m hoping I can get the 90 hedman by seasons end so I can have 2 refrigerators in the back end…
FYI: If you have done all of your chores and wildcard from both weeks. You can make two master set players for absolutely no charge. You acquire enough 84’s for free.

I personally enjoyed this event. Last week I made Barkov and Power. This week I went back and made Faber to replace Fox. Today I got my last collectible needed to finish the 84 set to make Demko and last night officially ended my chase for the Supercharged x-factor Connor McDavid as we now have him. What a weekend!
@ only about $325 and none of that was on the last couple events. Last I spent $ was the fantasy event. I’ve just got a lot of coins bc I work the market
hey sleeves love the vids, i recently made 86 ovr jack hughes for his free gold make it snappy, but when in game it doesn’t show the indicator that its active, js wondering if i need to some how activate it or its just always active.
Stack your lineup with as many xfactor and power icons as you can. Then play squad battles on rookie mode 4 minute periods. It’s boring but you can get a lot of objectives done

Being this is the first year since NHL 94 that I haven't bought the game at launch because of the last 2 years making the game not worth full price, has this year been any different, or the same? I only considered buying the game for half price at Christmas, because 24 I stopped playing in January because it made me so mad. Hoping 25 is better
first two weeks game was alright after game come ip apart from sync issue and ass rewards now rewards are decent and gameplay .Total control and players are falling on arse for no reason .

As far as I’m concerned barkov is S tier, has been killer for me.
One thing to mention for new players is if you make the BND 86 set only do it once. You can pull a double and be super screwed
I made Barkov, Aho, Power & Faber they've all been excellent but Barkov n Power stand out big time
I did the 86 Account bound, pulled Mika Zibanejad, but it was an untradable 86 not account bound. Made Barkov's msp and he's been on fire for my team.
I've had the exact same I have Mika untraceable in my lineup got him from the BND set

Owen Power has been sneaky good for me. He plays different to me and has an absolute bomb from the point.
I have had a lot of great results with the Next Gen Owen Power, so I'm excited to try this one out.
I got super lucky and threw my 6 collectibles in the 82+ set and got 86 Robert Thomas

No guarentees, but I don't see them going to go above like 85, if even, on the TOTY sets, seeing how little 86s and 87s there are.

I had this issue and reset my xbox while keeping my games/apps and its fine now. Its in Settings>system>info
