I like this technique the only issue i have with it is if im doing a high skin fade or medium high skin fade. That perimeter that you make with shears in the early stages of the cut is kind of a waste because you are going to have to make that area so much shorter to blend it into the top anyway. I see this method only being good for low or mid fades or taper fades
Not true. When you are doing your block graduation and you want less weight on the ridge for your fade, elevate your fingers to your chin and set the block graduation in. Reducing weight and leaving the hair more fluffy, you can go right in with your 3 guard up and through it.

the whole point of this channel is to provide informative knowledge to barbers who wish to develop more than just foundational skills in grooming and styling. if you knew that maybe you wouldn’t be so uptight about irrelevant things.
