Homuras witch form is pretty depressing. She’s being dragged by her wrists to a guillotine, but can never reach it. She’s constantly awaiting her death, to be released from her horrible reality, but she won’t ever get the salvation she so craves. Most destruction was caused by the bow hand things on her back, which could represent her wishing to go back again and redo everything. Besides that, as a witch, she doesn’t seem to care to destroy or kill anything. She’s forever doomed to solemnly walk to the death that will never happen.
I've seen people interpret the hands on her back as her working hard behind the scenes to ensure Madoka's safety I've only watched the anime, so I can't really say much about that

Zendikon Gaming You mean at the end of the anime? It’s because Homura really only cared about Madoka. (Was she ever really sad about any of the other character’s deaths?) The only thing that stopped her from rewinding time at the end was her memory getting almost entirely wiped of Madoka’s existence, like it was for everyone else.
I love how it takes Mada Dame Yo's motif and makes it aggressive and yet longing. It's like Homura knows she has to die here, but even so, even in her storm of mindless despair, she's saying "Not yet, I want to stay with Madoka! Just a bit longer!" But that's the thing about love. It just keeps you coming back for more.
Been listening to this for the past few weeks and an idea just hit me. There's a point where the song loops, and everytime I get to that point my mind tells me that its like Homura going back and back and back in time. Like in the series. Wow.

lmao
More like, they show disgust at the mere thought or existence of it.
I always hear her theme as a really intense version of mada dame yo and it makes me laugh
Love that theme
i love this so much ak
Homura’s witch form scene I related super hard, but that’s only because of deep depression.
This emotion is ours alone
Wattpad on the red spider lily:
- "Legend has it that the scent of these flowers bring back all the beautful memories of the dead for one last time, before they disappear when they cross the Forgotten River."
- "In Hanakotoba (the Japanese language of flowers) they symbolize loss, longing, abandonment and lost memories"
God damn the symbolism game in the series is on whole another level.
so theres more meaning to the flowers wow
still best witch theme out there
how do they manage to make the best boss music
Would you be so kind to make a "take your hands" extended version please? and "This is my despair" , they are so short but so amazing , request please .
