Greetings! It looks like I'm part of your presentation. This is my first time watching your video and I'm. moved when you talked about the temple a place even in our own home. Let me share in D&C 88:119 ' Organize yourselves prepare every needful thing and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting....' That"s all. Thank you
I must say, the Act in Doctrine/Real Talk combo is really growing on me 🙂. I appreciate the thoughts each of you have to share - no matter what platform you may be on. Love the thought of not only standing in holy places but making the places we stand holy. Thank you, sisters!
Thank you for another brilliant lesson Sisters, I love the thought "making the places we are in Holy" this brings another approach to the words 'stand ye in holy places and be not moved'. There's no reason why I shouldn't be able to flip this, and make every place I am in holy, and still not be moved ♥️
I always enjoy watching you wonderful women discuss gospel topics, but this week you completely blew me away! Thank you for pointing out that our homes are our temples because of the sacred work we are doing within the walls (even when it doesn’t feel like a temple!); it was a paradigm shift I needed and I am very grateful for your testimonies. Thank you!!!
So blessed to watch and hear all that you have said and taught. I am specially impressed and reminded about how our Father deals with us, as imperfect as we are.,and He is okay with that. Thanks you so much for all these...the time and great effort you all put into this video and all the videos you have been working with. Please know that I find this channel my Sunday School. Thank you!
Thank you so very much for sharing your remarkable insights, wisdom, truths and beautiful testimonies with the Spirit!!!! It’s such a great reminder to me and I’m even more excited about studying this coming new week’s CFM program as well. This video really helps me to keep trying to do my best to be faithful to God. You Sisters are extraordinary teachers who make great efforts, have strong faith and trying to show others the ways and example the Savior Jesus Christ would. Thank you.
thank you sisters so much! This lesson has inspired me a lot, especially the part around 10:00 where you talked about not trying to correct leaders. May I add Chinese SUBS and share this video with my friends in Taiwan?
@@mariannarichardson2932 thank you so much sister Richardson ❣️ I will send a message through FB to let you know if I had uploaded the video to Facebook!
22:30; Moroni 7:4-19 finds that we absolutely are meant to judge others behaviours/works. We are to judge what behaviour is wheat and tares and therefore choose for ourselves what our works will be. How can we know what is good or evil if we are not judging others? The only thing we are not to judge is people's hearts or motivations, we cannot know this. Sometimes our priesthood leaders are given this knowledge in particular situations but we as the common people are not. There is a clear distinction between what we are and are not to judge and it seems that we as a membership do not understand this doctrine.
Thank you for your teachings and invitations to act. I have a question for you. Just this last Sunday I was in a home evening with a dear friend whose son is a handicapped man, totally dependent on her. She is so amazing, her son is 30 years old. My friend has always considered herself as "unable" to understand scriptures by herself so she doesn't study them. We were talking about things to do, in order to recognize the voice of the Spirit. She said she felt the Holy Ghost's influence through her son. I'm sure that is true. When you talked about being in holy places and home mainly as the place of "doing a sacred work" I thought about my friend. With all the overwhelming things she has to manage, what do you think about her decision of nourishing her own spirit mainly that way? (her son) I was honestly not able to "suggest" some other ideas. Thank you very much.
I agree with her that she is doing a sacred work! She sounds like she is already such a saintly person - I don't know if I can suggest anything. A possible idea that she could try is watching some of the Come Follow Me videos with her son or having the scriptures playing in the background while she is working. She must be so busy doing this sacred work, so I do understand her limitations of time and effort. The blessing of audio/visual representations of the scriptures is that it can be playing in the background while we work around the house or drive in the car.
@@mariannarichardson2932 you guys don't pull any punches. I've always loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but sometimes was not exposed to the best examples. I've had to learn some hard lessons. I'm still learning some really hard lessons. At first it was really hard for me to listen to your Come Follow Me Act in Doctrine episodes. But. I realized it was because they were things I needed to learn and hear. Some of the topics and issues you cover are hard. You cover them tastefully and tactfully and with so much grace, the spirit cannot help but testify of the truth of things you say. Even over the internet. lol. I appreciate your replies. I appreciate your willingness to talk about hard things. I also have really appreciated and enjoyed the feminine perspective. I am sincerely enjoying your series now. Thank you for your good example and for all of your preparation. Come Follow Me Act in Doctrine is truly sensational!

Thanks Brent. It was a joy to work with Ganel-Lyn.
It was wonderful being Ganel-Lyn.
the final part about the home being temple is so inspiring, thank you all!
During COVID, our homes have become a temple.

Thank you for the discussion of steadying the ark especially President McKay's warning from 1936.
The steadying the ark warning is one to remember, I agree.
At the beginning of the Covid lockdown and we had Sacrament in our home, the Spirit was so strong. It made you look forward to the Sabbath each week.
It was a great reminder of the sacredness of that ordinance, right?

Wow! So much to think about. Thank you Sisters.
Thank you for watching, Glenda.
I really liked the concept of what are we doing to make the place where we are holy.
Yes, a powerful idea. Thanks Art!

Jesus Christ governs His church always. And He is mighty and powerful Jesus Christ may be the one He was talking about.
I agree that Jesus Christ governs His Church always. Thank you for the comment.
Amen! Georgia well said. All prophets point to Christ as the way to the Father
