It's delightful seeing Caroline back on the courts, I remember her earlier era and she was a huge inspiration for me and I went on through college to play 🥹 unfortunately had a wrist and elbow injury that I can't quite grip a tennis racket anymore but still love watching games. Great memories for me and I will always root for my favorite player!
Strange, I was never taken with Wozniacke , I too thought she was overrated but apparently she has been a 2 time slam runner up in addition to the one controversial slam win. Now with this gutsy performance after having come back after maternity and injuries, I have a new respect for her.😊
Wozniacki’s career is overrated. If Jana Fett had challenged her match point serve at the Australian Open 2018 second round (as her coach was screaming for her to do) - the serve was in on the replay - Wozniacki would never have won her only slam. She would have continued her career average at the slams of being eliminated before the second week.
