The MARSHALL ISLANDS + snack shopping + us = A Travel Vlog...?

- This video will NOT do justice to the Republic of the Marshall Islands beauty, culture or people. There are plenty of videos on the internet (not enough IMO) that do take a deep look into the complexities that are the Marshall Islands. This video is not one of them.
This video is of two tired people who go get snacks in a grocery store for meals because their room costs more than their budget and then they walk around. That is all. But boy did we enjoy every minute of it.
If you aren’t using United points (which you really should cost wise) and aren’t on a tighter budget - there are SO many things you can do in the Marshall Islands! You can rent cars to explore Majuro more, go on boat tours, go to a nearby atoll with an accommodation there, or you could even go to Enko island and have an overnight stay/day trip! And if you’re going right home after this and don’t live out of a backpack - you could even buy some of the most beautiful hand-made decorations.
Even though it was brief, thank you for having us!

About Us
We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.
These laidback TH-cam videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).
Thanks for watching!
(pro tip: if you click on ‘settings’ on the youtube video and put the playback speed to ‘2’ it goes by faster!)

Also if your outside U.S, the grocery you both saw probably and more likely are the same you find in the mainland which brings a good home VIBE!❤
6:52 yay good one. Tuna transshipment yes, in most years busiest in the world
My dad is John Moody the reason for the majority of Marshallese people in the US. At least north west Arkansas. I'm so jealous. I wanna travel to my dad homeland and take him with me :(
He told u that? Tell your old man he’s so full of it!
Lmao Oh the lies your dad is telling U is WILD 🤦🏾♂️
Hey look, is the sailboats I want!
I dare you to go buy one there
That’s my hometown 😅❤
Ok, I have lived my entire life in the Marshall Islands, but never have I ever seen a sign that hangs on a front door saying "CNN, DO NOT DISTURB". LMAO
I almost fell off my chair when I saw the spider
Noooooo - dude last night (we are in Micronesia) Curt asked "what is the biggest heaviest thing we have" and I was like "me" and he was like "no there's a spider in the bathtub don't look at it" so naturally I looked AND LORDY I ABOUT FAINTED WHEN IT STARTED RUNNING AT ME. The spiders here are no joke.
That's nice my home
would you recommend moving to the Marshall island coming from someone who lives in Ohio?
That will totally depend on you! We don't have any family there so I don't think we would move there for long term. Highly suggest to visit if you haven't yourself before considering moving anywhere - but that's just how we operate 😆
Try mango with koolaid or ice lukar or the koolaid one or ramen with koolaid
bubu e ba enana koolaid
@@roastingtoast😂😂
Not kool-aid. 😂😂 Ekwe kwjab ba renij kajju drelon hospital.
Ramen with kool-aid? Like the noodles??
@@CurtandBriannaSeeStuffYeah we eat the dry ramen noodles crushed up with powder koolaid😆 It’s a popular snack
I wouldn't worry about spider over there but be aware of 🐶 they might be cute but they do bite....
You are so right 😂 it was very difficult to not try to pet all of them. We thankfully only had one very close call with a dog and the only thing that stopped it was a spray we carried around just in case. That spider though was so massive 😆
Have guys try go visit Lura Beach? You'll like it I think
Aloha from North Shore, O’ahu. Was this filmed during COVID times? I see y’all wearing masks.
I don't remember but I think most masks mandates are lifted! You gotta check government sites but I think masks are optional right now...
Just to point out one of the plus you didn’t mentioned was Marshall Islands currency which is the “KING”…. $….
Dollars?
