This isn't the "real" Carnage per se as it isn't a human behind him, that is bonded with a symbiote. Technically, the Ultimate version of Carnage isn't Cletus Kasady. In the Ultimate Spider-Man comics, he was born after Dr. Connors collected Spidey's DNA in an attempt to clone him, which also led into the Clone Saga of that universe. In the game based on the comics, Peter was injected with suit particles by Adrian Toomes (who wasn't really the Vulture, but worked for Bolivar Trask), which led him to become Carnage for a very brief moment, until he was consumed by Venom. A third incarnation of Carnage was actually a clone of Gwen Stacy. I am ok with Ultimate Carnage, however I will always prefer the original.
when saving the guy at around 10:43, don't go immediately to the destination like in the video, go down and look at the left cells with a blue light glow, one of them has Deadpool & Electro as cellmates.

I love how different ultimate spider man acts during this level, you can tell that he takes carnage as a very powerful and serius threat even without the fragment

God this was a blast to the past, I played this game when I was around 6 years old. The Carnage level used to be one of the most scary levels for me, but I eventually got over it and enjoyed speed running the level and beating him up over and over. 8 year old me after conquering the fear was all like, “Yeah! How do you feel Carnage?”
I think it’s just that he is mad that they were experimenting with the carnage symbiote that’s why he said to the woman in the beginning “because with great power comes great responsibility something you wouldn’t understand.”
That's the pretense for this level. That's already happened which is why Peter has so much animosity and rage towards carnage. Here is more of less him being forced to relive and even fight something worse than what was.

there is an easter egg in this mission. you can see electro and deadpool in one of the only intact cells throwing balls at each other

This level tramautised me as a kid. Jesus, Activision was thinking about resident evil or outlast making this.
