As an introvert, this song was really a huge help when I decided to join tutions during highschool, I'm antisocial, like purely, don't go out from home., Physically almost an obese , !!
But I couldn't really make much friends there too, and social skills showed no improvement, I think it was more fun to take the long unpaved road ALONE with Earphones on, rather than people who are sooooooo bent on socializing that they forget they came there to study!
Sometimes you realize you are surrounded by people who won't be there if you can't do something for them and you decide that's not OK. If you realize you have no friends its ok if you can take care of yourself. Its actually a very healthy and useful skill to be independent.
Unfortunately not everyone can take care of themselves and force themselves to fit into someone else's needs. Its not healthy, but its a way of surviving for some. If you haven't found the right people yet don't give up. They're probably out there looking for you as well.
