Final Chase is one of the most emotional and my absolute favorite tracks from SA2B, so I’m thrilled to hear this remix! I noticed after a few listens that the melody in the bridge seems to reference I Am... All of Me. And somehow, the bassline solo reminds me of the intro riff from All Hail Shadow! Amazing work!

There is one thing I know for certain though, this is the greatest remix of a Sonic track I’ve ever heard both unofficial and official and I mean that wholeheartedly as somebody who’s loved this franchise their whole life. I find that the original mixes are somehow perfect in their weirdness, the barren spookiness, even the clumsiness of Bradley's vocals (which I think is even why Sega was inspired to distort a lot of it lol), but most of all the amazing ingenuity of the voice mods and sampling and the drum sequencing, the whole breakbeat feel that comes up in a lot of them, this one especially. I feel like a lot of people who feel the need to remix Shadow's songs in that game feel the need to make them more palatable and "comprehensible," I'd like to see somebody try and make versions just as weird and rhythmically crazy. Me, I would never try... There's nothing I can do to match that level of drum sequencing.... Lol
A lot of my remixes are how I originally hear the tracks, if something is weird I only want to make it weirder. If it goes hard I wanna make it go harder. I do not like the idea of making something weird, less weird. So yeah I agree with you 🙏
