Great video! this piece is a perfect example of a work that is "easy to learn but hard to master". It will sound like "bragging" but this was the first proper piano piece I ever learned - I was TERRIBLE at playing it but I wanted to dive in the deep end after starting late. I managed the notes but over 20 yrs later I'm still working on "mastering" it. 😂 I'd say this is one of the few "hard" pieces that could be learned by an intermediate - so long as the expectation is for it to be a "long project" - use it as an arpeggio exercise for years and get it up to tempo eventually. NEVER try to play it at tempo when not ready - way too much tension can cause inflammation, so it always has to be approached with an understanding that it will come gradually with correct movement patterns and minimal tension.
I think measure 6 is a dim vii7. There's a voice leading device where scale degree 3 (mi/me) is held above the V chord w/o resolving. It usually goes down to Do when the V resolves to I (which happens in measure 7). Thats what that e-flat sounds like to me (especially since its usually played as part of the melody in the RH at the begining of the measure) Chopin uses that same trick in his 1st ballade's B theme (mm. 68-69, 106-107). Mi is held over the V chord w/o resolving and then goes down to Do on the I chord

You have just taken this to an understandable n fun piano tutorial 🎉 thaaaaankyou x
Great video!
Chopin ending on C Major I find poetic, since this is his last PUBLISHED Etude. Quite the piece, Romantic Composers are super interesting!
