Okay, as to be expected people are taking everything out of context and are being blinded. Firstly, in the current incarnation of Dancehall, Beenie Man isnt on Mavado's level. Overall in his career though, Beenie has had more of a global impact than Mavado has. Moving on, many people who are saying Vado has sold out, and what he's doing or not doing to stay in the U.S. need to relax. As others have pointed out the Jamaican economy is in tatters. Mavado himself stated in the video that, there a few if any shows where the big artists in Jamaica can all perform and make any profit, that's why he has to branch out. Almost everyone who is faulting Mavado for staying overseas would do the same given the opportunity. Hypocrites.
