if you were confused about what happened at 1:22:08, its a glitch that just breaks radahn's meteor attack when you spam jump after he leaps into the sky. not sure if they've since patched it, but probably not tbh.
YES IVE BEEN WAITING ON THIS RUN ever since I’ve seen briar only a long time ago I wanted a sequel and I like to think Elden ring devs added mantle of thorns on purpose
Here's a list of ideas to improve mantle of thorns (because it's literally useless) -Give it bleed buildup (40 or 50) -Have an aow thorn attack when you use it -Make it be buffed by everything the other thorn sorceries are buffed by -Make it give you a slight damage negation effect -I think a damage buff (maybe 2 or 2.5 times as much) would help quite a lot I would have it cost a little more FP and HP with these changes just for balancing. I doubt From will add any of these in, but hopefully it gets buffed. It's sad that a lot of DLC spells are really underwhelming, since this one especially is a really cool and unique idea (unlike the 60 variations of heal there are) EDIT: Well, it's been a month and the spell is still awful. Not sure what I expected tbh

Idea for a run that i think youll hate but also love. Elden ring dlc but you can only use ashes of war and no upgraded weapons. Meaning youll have to find powerful ashes and use them. As another added challenge. Once you use a ash to kill a boss. You cant kill a boss with that ash. Mobs and mini bosses are fair game
I could definitely see the appeal to a run like this, specifically in Elden Ring. So many bosses give you so few windows to attack, so being able to do damage while doing the only thing you are allowed to do most of the time seems great on paper.
During the consort radhan fight there's currently a glitch that when he flies up to do his meteor, if you jump at the right time(or just spam jumping when he goes up) then he'll just fall back down
Skum calling Leda & co and Dancing Lion bad fights really makes me realize how polarizing this DLC is. Dancing Lion is in my top 5 bosses of all time and Leda & co is so cinematic and thematic I love it.
Now in this video, you can truly imagine Sisyphus happy, cause not only he's rolling that boulder up the mountain but he also has become the boulder himself and he's rolling brothers, HE'S ROLLING THAT CLIMB. ROLLING, ROLLING ROLLING!
The effort for mantle of thorns was good stuff, but after one of the tree spirits dies, if you also die, the second one will die when you respawn. I think it's a bug though

Just a Question, but could you not use Immolation to Amp up the dmg even more? I know it not only does dmg when rolling, but you have to be pretty close too soo? Maybe?
Just so you know skumnut when mother of fingers does the really big laser thing in phase 2 you can stand on the edge of the purple aoe she has around her without being in it, and she cant hit you with the laser
The reason that these roll attacks need to be so weak is because enemies have a hidden poise bar that takes 6 seconds to start healing but if you keep doing attacks it can't start healing. You should try it in normal runs combination with fast weapons with high poise damage like the fists.
