I love this! If you punch your lace edge first, then turn your tag punch upside-down, so that you can see where you're punching, it would be much easier to center.
I have the same issue - I bought a bunch of paper flowers I didn't need and could've made them myself! So disappointed! This is a GREAT reminder to use our punches. Thank you!
Just seeing this now- not sure how I missed it - very fun- think I’ll try some whimsical 🐞. I agree about the stamp folder - going to have to try something else!
They came out so beautiful! I used to do a lot of those with all my flower punches… but you are right, some punches are hardly used… I really love what you did with the boarder punch on the tag edge! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌸💕♥️👌🏼💕🌸🌸
I just had the great luck to discover your site on 4/01/23 !!! I am loving this so much !!!! Have my punches out and am having a wonderful time following your great examples and inspiration! I am so hoping for much more of your creations to come!!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻it’s years since I’ve made flowers. Us to make the one with scrunched petals in red and they look like poinsettias for Christmas. Must dust my punches off xx
Love it! I have all those punches except the tag punch. I have tag dies, however. I feel so much better that "chucking" the stuck punch on the floor is done by the esteemed Tracie Fox. 😂 I thought I might be the only one. 😂
Oh Wow, I have the same punches, thank you for showing us how to manipulate the paper / creasing it etc. for a more realistic look, so beautiful. thank you !
These flowers 🌸 are darling!! I have a flower punch and I am going to try to make these. Thanks for sharing! PS…I loved the leftover green scrap you had after you made the leaves! It’s a perfect way to make a Tab if you don’t have a “whale’s tail” punch!
These are delightful. So much more quality than the store bought. I am looking forward to this series. I actually don’t have that many punches. The ones that I like are rather pricey. But I do have circle punches. Need your ideas. 😍
Ohh hnnn. I own five punches but I accept the challenge! Tomorrow I will dust them off to see what I can create. Love this Tracie, you challenge and stretch our creative brain so brilliantly. Nightly night from SoCal.
Hi Traci 😁 It's Monday morning as I type this and as it happens I watched a bunch of your vids over the weekend - you are so very, very talented! Your attitude - if you could bottle it and sell it - you'd be rich beyond measure. I love spending time with you cuz I always come away with so many ideas. Thank you m'dear! Withove from the Southern California desert, MK ♥️😁🏜
Really fun project Trac, you e got me thinking about my punches…such a shame that they have for the most part been gathering dust. Thanks for your inspiration ❤️❤️
I totally agree- handmade embellies are better. You can customize any way you want, different cardstock, packaging paper, book pages, different weights of papers, different ink colors...you could even punch these out of the cool scraps you made and those would be awesome! And you could put other things in the middle, like glitter glue, button, smaller punched circle. What's nice about this is that with some very basic supplies you can make a lot of very different looking items. Your leaves are brilliant!
Yay! This is going to be a fun FB challenge! I hope I can join! Working on taxes and still my craft room! I just got a circle punch for Christmas…can’t wait to use it! Your flowers are so pretty!!!
Love this! I have several unloved punches until seeing you 💓. So, thought I’d share this: while using my border punch just as you did, I put the tag in and accidentally flipped the punch over. I could see where it would exactly punch the border on the tag. Love little creative happy accidents.
These are lovely! This video is a nice reminder! While I do often use many of my punches on a regular basis, there are those that do sit in the box under used. Also I used to make paper flowers when I first started journaling, but I really don’t make so many now. They are fun to make! So this is a great reminder to start making them again! Thanks! 😃❤️
They look so much better then the store bought ones. I have bought some at Micheal's in a small jar that looked good but I think they were close to 4.00 a bottle. The jar says mulberry paper flowers, and I have a mulberry paper hoard.
Thank you so much Tracie I really really enjoyed watching you create those cute little flowers, and I really really love ❤️ how they turned out. I have that punch for the flowers and for the edge too. So I might have to accept your challenge. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤️❤️❤️
So sweet Tracie. I finally finished my book from the challenge you did on 2019 l believe about puzzles. I did them then, but l wanted to create my book l s started but never finished....until now so very happy and very pleased. I love punchers and l always create my little projects with them. Hugs.
Your flowers sure turned out pretty! I don't have a flower punch yet, but I can sure see the reason to get one! I'm looking forward to seeing your video using a circle punch to make flowers! I'm new to paper crafting and adding to my tool collection slowly. Thanks for sharing!
These are so cute! You’re so right that I don’t use my punches enough! …but more importantly, I just love your rings! What is that large stone? Just beautiful!
Great idea. I too need to dig out my older punches and make some pretties.
I’m inspired also to think outside the box. I can never find flowers are embellishment in the colors that I need. Now I can just make what I want!
I get the house to myself this afternoon. I’m digging out my punches. Thank you. 🤗
Perfect!
So cute. The punch will make lovely flowers with out smushing or curling the petals
TDF, punch artist. Fabulous, fun video Tracie 💕
You have inspired me to make something different with my punches from their original purpose
Brilliant! Better than anything you can buy
I love this! If you punch your lace edge first, then turn your tag punch upside-down, so that you can see where you're punching, it would be much easier to center.
You can make whale tail tabs with circle punches. I love making flowers, and will be joining this challenge. 💙
Such a cutie. Time to dig out the unused punches!!!!😍
Have fun!
oh! new sleeves and they are beautiful!🦌💌❤️📚
Thank you! 🤗
I rarely use mine too. There are two that I use for clusters fairly often. I accept the challenge.
Holy moley...those are gorgeous. And you are right...the store bought ones are dicey at best. 👍🥰❤️

Just seeing this now- not sure how I missed it - very fun- think I’ll try some whimsical 🐞. I agree about the stamp folder - going to have to try something else!
I had to rewatch because I too have pulled out my punches and am trying to make my own flowers. Lovely video.
Sweet flowers! I have to try.
They came out so beautiful! I used to do a lot of those with all my flower punches… but you are right, some punches are hardly used…
I really love what you did with the boarder punch on the tag edge! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌸💕♥️👌🏼💕🌸🌸
