Sad thing is, I actually had a call of the wild deck in high school. It was U/G and bit more casual than modern, since most of the people their could not afford. I got it to work... A little. This brings back memories.
Last year before Phoenix there was a brief time you could play anything in Modern but I feel like after last year we're back to there really being about just 7 options again. Hopefully Horizons helps this.
did they not change the planeswalker cards in the opening titles? im sure I remember paul's one about being a resistor and cam's one bioviating. I is a sad, reading the text on the cards in the opening titles is like finding an easter egg in a movie- a little giggle gift from the director

I feel the same way, but with Living Lore. A spicey card that can do broken things, but is just not fast enough.
