I do love Nomad so much! They rotate micro creators so they can give more people a chance. I love the brand so much and wanted to continue to support them monetarily while receiving pr, I did a giveaway with every launch and gave someone a Nomad palette. Because it’s not just about free makeup for me. Ooohhhh I would love to get nail polish in pr from what’s up 🤯
I love your attitude towards it but dang it Jan some of us think you deserve the Nomad PR 😂 The what’s up beauty nail polishes are SO GOOD! I got the geodes collection with the palette in the instagram giveaway

I think the reason why Nomad stopped giving PR to Jan was to give PR to someone else. But why take PR away from someone who LOVES the brand so much, like Jan does?? But then give it to someone who throws tons of shade on the brand and who has given away the palettes that Nomad sent to them in PR… while telling the recipient of said PR palette to not say anything about it??? Gah. Pisses me off.
aw thank you for the shout out!! i think a lot of eyeshadow focused brands including whats up beauty should definitely have you on their radar because you show off the MOST beautiful and unique eye looks!!!
PR is such a touchy subject. If you complain about not getting it you’re greedy but if you say you get too much you’re ungrateful, and if you show it off you’re gloating. As a small content creator it’s almost impossible to get onto a PR list. I think I’m only on one and I don’t know if I really am or I was just sent the 1 palette. PR is not a payment, if you want me to post and use my content then we should be paid… it’s advertising. But if I want to post that different (I hope that makes sense) I agree with you completely though.
the PR topic… I could make a video hours long but nobody want to see that! It’s all about the obligation if it counts as PR or not. But a fine line it is. Your channel is awesome with so much potential and you deserve to be recognized!

I'm gonna comment before I watch. I was never offered PR but decided long ago I would not accept PR. I am trying to shop responsibly and have a manageable collection (I have 31 palettes in my collection). I want the best of the best and want stuff I really like. Speaking of Nomad (which my best video ever on youtube), i only have 1 palette which is Ghost Town. Because I would hear review of previous palettes saying the mattes were off, or the shimmers were hard pressed. I don't want that. And I don't do review anymore. I just do looks. I want people to know that what I have I really enjoy. I don't enjoy everything from every brand. Also, if you receive PR, even without an affiliated code, if you don't push out the product, they will take you off. So you become biased towards a brand. I don't want that. And also, I have an amazing career that I would never quit for social media and have a good enough income to pay for my purchase. So yeah, no PR for me.
@@steph_the_franco People definitely are biased when it comes to the products in their collection that did or did not come in PR! If I was offered, I would take it only if I am interested and it would make sense. I am not a review heavy channel and I won’t become one so I don’t need or even want every palette!
