Youngjae, the melodious wizzard. You should trademark that comment, it fits him perfectly. Think About it was written by all three of them, they are all credited on the song. ARS is Youngjae's composer/producer/songwriter name. It's one of my favorite songs from the Present: you & me album. Mark's growl just before the high notes is everything! Not sure if you know, but Jinyoung was the rapper in JJ Project when they initially debuted before GOT7.
fun fact the song phoenix was made for the fandom as you already know we're ahgases right? we're baby birds and receiving hate from other people are out of our control that's why jackson always reminds us that we can be phoenixes too. whenever someone looks down on us he never fails to remind us that as long as we're not stepping down on other people then learn how to fight back because we're not just baby birds, we're phoenixes 🥺

I love your observations like Mark's habit when rapping of moving head side to side... and Jinyoung's King performance saying that it was not expected but he didn't seem out of place because he didn't really "changed" to suit the style? That's how I felt as well seeing and hearing that the first time. Even his get up. He brought "Jinyoung-ness" so to speak to meet up with classy high end Bambam, and I think it really worked well. 😊
I was so, so lucky to see GOT7 last year on their first visit to the UK - they were so much fun with the crowd and it was mind-blowing to see Lullaby live with THAT choreo! You need a ticket next time they come and maybe get yourself a little green aghase light stick!

Jinyoung actually debuted as a rapper when he was in JJProject. Also he became a jyp trainee when he did an audition for dancing. He use to go to a dance school. Not many people know this but jinyoung was very passionate about dancing but he had to give up a lot of his talent and changing his style because of the company. I'm not blaming yugyeom or anything yugyeom is a great dancer and is known as the dancer of the group but jinyoung did a segment in spinning tour concerts where he showed off his dancing saying not many people know this but he's a good dancer. Jinyoung has choreographed many of got7s songs. Some on his own like for Thursday and a part of Just Right. He also choreographed if you do which was with yugyeom.
It’s also crazy how mostly all their concerts they perform songs like that ( that mostly they produced) and ofc their title tracks but a lot of people doesn’t know these songs while I’m sure they’ll love it, again it’s really sad JYPE refuses these types of songs while it could work for them

And if you enjoy rnb, you should DEFINITELY listen to JUS2's Focus album! Drunk On You from that album is my absolute favorite. JJP's Verse2 album as well! My favorite song from there is Icarus.
