weird how the second track shows up and ends abruptly, but the tracks are still nice and melancholic.

I was looking up reviews for this, and one of the rym accounts reviewing this series repeatedly started off with what was essentially the reason I started looking up reviews for it in the first place: "Not sure what any of this has to do with Michael Jackson." But it makes me think about something, which may or may (most likely) not be the actual intent of the work. not trying to overreach, but just having to stare at him while this music develops in the background really forces me to examine him, and I feel like he is maybe one of the most exemplary circumstances of where someone stops being a human being and starts being a creation, a symbol of the former human's inner desires as well as those projected upon him. On the both most superficial and profound levels, he seemed dead long before his death, if not just incredibly disconnected from the average human experience, moreso than 99.999% of humankind will ever understand. Not to justify any of the crimes alleged against him, but something about his circumstance kind of naturally instigates an actually empathetic inquiry into the rationale/condition of how one might become a predator. Sometimes it feels like there is a large overlap between people who secretly believe he did it and people who still loved him unconditionally because in some part we are forced to ask ourselves "Did we do this? Sure, we didn't personally beat him into becoming an entertainment machine, but we reaped the rewards, and we often propagated his decline for the sake of our continued entertainment, far outside simply his art. Do we help create monsters by being complacent in the removal of their humanity? Is the artifice of celebrity in the role of capitalism inherently inhumane and inherently perverting? And maybe most controversially, should it be considered that maybe his perversion directly manifested from his lack of a childhood/is pederasty potentially the manifestation of something that in order to fix as a problem in society, we are required in some way to sympathize with the predator, or at the least regard as a compulsive condition and not simply a voluntary evil?" I am not sure if I am interested in taking a side on any of those questions, and I don't think it's necessary to even ask or answer them specifically. I think if anything, the reason for the work as it is, is to simply interrogate our own perceptions of one of the most ambitious and egregious examples of the human experiment of celebrity, to remember him for the sake of asking questions in order to peel back the dead skin layers of our own projections that we plastered on to this human being, and regardless of what we find underneath, the act itself of exhuming him implies the undeniable: the story of Michael Jackson is definitively a tragedy. For all intents and purposes, I am staring at a corpse.

Humans created good and evil or laws, all mental disorders should be treated equally, but really who are the disabled ones? And Michael was innocent. He was found innocent, owned half of Sony music publishing, The Beatles catalog at one point, was about to buy the rights to Marvel comics and had a death clause in his contract that stated everything he owes would go back to Sony. So maybe he was taken out 🤷🏻‍♀️ seemed like they tried to destroy his reputation n when they couldn’t they did something else 🤷🏻‍♀️. I could be wrong tho 😂 I’m most likely wrong, but he was found innocent. We do think too earthly, but that’s good . . . right??

This may just be the most eloquent and insightful comment I've ever read on this godforsaken site.
      RIP Mike.

Is this about the death of Michael Jackson? Strangely enough it's not the only concept tape I heard regarding the death of Michael Jackson. R.I.P.

There are 4 tapes and one vinyl. The band's name is the year MJ was born - the year MJ died.
