- RingTV's Cynthia Conte interviewed WBA welterweight titleholder Keith Thurman about defending his belt against Josesito Lopez on January 26 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on FOX. Welterweight rival (fellow unbeaten titleholder) Errol Spence crashed the interview to take issue with Thurman calling him a "false profit." Spence says Thurman has to prove it. Thurman said the showdown WILL happen.

So basically what he's saying is his not ready to lose his undefeated record so he's only gonna fight guys he can beat. So if I'm told to fight Spence I will have to make up a ghost injury so it doesn't happen. You cant be the best unless you beat the best period.
