MODS FOREVER how you doing brother? Hey I know this is not related to the video but I have an Acura TL 04 and the reverse lights are not getting voltage, fuses are ok ....what could be the issue? Any info would be very appreciated
Thanks, one thing though. I’m thinking you may not know this one unrelated thing because you made this one comment halfway through. The reason your left mirror goes down in reverse is because you currently have the mirror adjustment switch set in the left position. If it’s on the right mirror then the right mirror goes down, which is great for parallel parking and preventing rim rash while parking. If you do not want the mirrors to go down at all then set the mirror adjustment switch to the middle “unselected” position.
Will the dashboard gear indicator work if this part was bad? Mine won’t go into any gear but the dash indicator does change with the shifter knob, yet won’t go into any gear. I will sub as soon as I get an answer thanks ;)
Was this problem giving you the blinking D on the gear selection on the cluster when you put it in drive to fast the D would start blinking. I had a code p0706 come up and this switch comes up as a purchase on google.

I replaced my TRS and on my 07 TL and now when I shift it around and try to put it back in park, it gets blocked my the reverse gear but can still go back into drive no problem . Is there anything that can cause that aside from the TRS? I reinstalled twice and followed the manual by my side so I'm confident it's not the new part.

I have 2011 Honda Accord V6 with this problem. It's not shifting properly. I've already gotten my transmission replaced twice and spent over $2k. Car drives and runs smoothly but after going on the highway between 40-50mph I feel a jolt and the flashing D comes on. I'm getting codes P1780 and P1743. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Did you try replacing the transmission pressure switches as well? There’s only two of them. I did as instructed in this video plus replaced the switches and it worked.
How important is it to have the key in the accessory position when doing this? Left mine in off and it's all kind of crazy. The gear that is in from the console does not match the light indicator in the dash. i.e., Drive in console shows N on the dash. D5 has no light. It's like it is off. All kinds off wonky shifting now.

So I’ve had mine recently rebuilt and drives and shifts smoothly, but I still have one thing that still occurs, when I shift to drive or reverse, anything that makes the car move there’s still a slight delay between the engagements, what could be the cause?
All due respect, the pressure switches have nothing to do with the time it takes the transmission to engage from N to a drive gear like R or D. The switches will cause odd behavior while driving such as delayed shifting between 2-3 and 3-4... among other things. The delayed gear change when going from P to a drive gear, or from N to a drive gear is HYPER common with these cars, as mine does it when the transmission is warm as well. I haven't heard a solid explanation for this as of yet. It seems like just something these cars do.
I just recently changed my neutral safety switch and now sometimes it wont shift into gear. Drive, reverse, neutral, and park. The light doesn’t show up on the dash of what gear I’m in and it takes it a minute for it to show up and for it to actually go into gear. Any advice on how to fix it? Thanks!
@@johnnydang420 yeah I didn’t tighten it down all the way so I tightened it down and it works now. The D on the dash turns green when i put the key in and it didn’t before so it probably need to be put in a certain position. But it works.
@Sammy Phillps my car has intermittently started stalling, especially when hitting turns a little faster than normal or when slowing down to stop before turning, it's acting almost as if it's out of gas even when I got a quarter tank left.

If you still have it take it to the mechanic immediately and tell him you have the code for solenoid stuck on D huge transmission problem

Hade code p0958 and even put into manual mode it won’t shift but shifts fine in automatic, will fixing the switch fix this problem ?

Very important to keeps gears correct that's why I said do it that way cause now there gears will be out of sinc with the selector switch.

The car needs to scan with a all system scanner to find out exactly what's wrong with the car.
