It looks great! I really love the idea and I want one badly! The only issues I can see are it seems that the wheels wear out really fast and the chain falls off pretty often (just what I've read in reviews). So my suggestions would be a rethink on how the chain is mounted and using a harder material for the rear wheels. Oh, and please don't make it crazy expensive. I love the idea but at the $600 this one will probably cost...that's just too much for most people I think.
crap i want one New version is it suitable for 12-13? im tall and wouldnt mind to let my legs flat instead of bending them since the orginal crazy cart which was too small
@@ShadowHunter hahaha. How does it feel being replied to almost a decade later? Are you still interested in the crazy cart? Have you grown too old for it now? How has life changed for you since your comment?
Excited! When will you release XL? Expected price point? Where can we purchase or sign up for pre order? Also any chance the second generation crazy cart will be viable option for normal size adults who might not need all the XL features? Thanks!
I bought a crazy kart and it fit pretty good my only complaint is the seat hurts after a while of riding and the pedal get messed up some times besides that the best toy ever really fun
just read the description there, about maybe no putting the bucket over the wheel to prevent dirt, what if you put a mudflap or something over it, or a clear see through plastic cover on the drivers side as a sort of guard? like half a bucket? and leave the front bare, as seeing the wheel in action is pretty damn cool, love the bucket seat also, nice work :)
That is wide enough to have a 2 seater!!!! Please try to make a double seater version!!! We bought the crazy cart and love it! we have a 4 and 2 yr old that can drive it like a pro drifting and everything. We also replaced the poor lead acid and slow charger with our lipo batteries and using our charger, we get hours of run time per charge and only an hour of charging now. Keep that in mind for future models too, at least as an option too.
I'll definitely purchase one (if it's not absurdly priced). My only concern is the novelty wearing off quickly. What would be really fun if there was some sort of local Crazy Cart racing league. A group of racers/karters who don't take themselver too seriously, not that would be fun.
Nice the XL looks good. I think your own suggestions are good. Lose the brody knob. Include the plastic buckets. I've read a lot of comments on the original about the front wheels failing so hopefully your plan to fix that issue works. The only thing I would suggest is a faster top speed for the adult version =) Also have you ever though about adding a second petal for your left foot to replace the handle so you could keep both hands on the wheel?
I go a little over 10mph in the crazy cart and those speeds arent bad, 20mph should be good enough. You can always upgrade the pack to a higher voltage though. Bump from 36v to 48v should be a-ok for the motor that they stuck in it and it will give a linear speed bump increase. 17mph should go up to 22-23mph.
Get this on Kickstarter! I am a backer. Just make sure that the tires are durable, easy to change. Just like a printer, you will make as much on replacement ink/tires as the cart. Do it!
You have one willing customer ready to purchase. PLEASE PLEASE have the ability to swap parts and make these customizable. You would corner the world market. If not I'll find a way to beef up the battery and motor with something a little more industrial to give the crazy cart some extra beef...
You gotta add your own stuff to upgrade it. But hey, its not as hard as it sounds. I upgraded our crazy cart with 22.2v 10ah lipo pack and it not only has full torque the entire time, but it's run time is a couple hours..yes, you heard me right, a COUPLE HOURS of run time, as in 2 hours of riding it around. Just gotta get your own lipo charger for it too. Whole upgrade only costed about $100 in batteries and I already had the charger, but those only cost $35. Oh, and BTW, it only takes a little over an hour to charge now.
I have 2 5ah 6s packs in parallel. They make 10ah packs meant for multirotor applications. Just get one of those. Makes everything super easy to install
Keep the bucket seat, make the steering knob detatchable, make it less wide, and move the main wheel closer to the inside, just some suggestions and shit
The throttle control is just a standard 0-5k pot. Cut the wires leading to the pedal and mount a thumb throttle on the steering wheel. Then wire in the thumb throttle to the pedal wires and voila! Make sure you mount it on the left side of the steering wheel so you can use your right hand to lift the drift bar. Your welcome :)
first send me one so i can review it along the smaller one with my son :) second, will these be out before the end of the year? would love one to ride with my son
Love that razor realizes adults love this thing as much as kids do. Open does look a lot better! If you are riding these you probable shouldnt be wearing your best clothes anyhow.
Worst idea ever. Just cause you stick in a gas engine does not mean it is automatically better. I build electric bikes with more power than gas mopeds in a smaller frame. A lawnboy has 4.5hp to 6.5hp. First that is rated at absolute maximum horsepower, not continuous. Second, the power you get from those engines will only be at maximum RPM, which is extremely boring for powersports where torque makes all of the fun. Third, you will have a heck of a time fitting a gas engine, fuel tank, and new throttle control at the front of the crazy cart where the current electric motor fits right above the wheel. Easiest option is to up the voltage from the 36v nominal to 48v with just another lead acid in series and just get a 48v charger. Best option is to get a good 48v ebike controller along with 2x 6s lipo packs wired in series(for ease of charging with a 6s lipo charger) to max out the motor's power limits at 24mph and a lot more torque than it already has. This will give the stock motor power that would smoke the lawnboy gas motors in acceleration any day.
wilsob26 one idea for you to simplify your life...try to find a side shaft engine..id make a solide axle with sprocket rwd...so u can really drift it not powersliding sitting on a tray type vision...
great fun bought one for my 7 year old 50-60 pounds but dont last, batteries dont last 40 minutes more like 15 minutes and need to recharge for hours for my son to enjoy again. Was ready to buy myself one the XL but will wait for a gas one. batteries suck
The XL has another battery so you don't need to wait hours so while you're using that battery you can be charging the extra battery. I doubt they're gonna make gas ones for children to use even though some adults can use this, mostly kids or teens are gonna like this so doubt they're gonna have gas ones.
Nice toy but need some upgrades on longer lasting batteries. and extra front tires should be included cause they wear out quick, and its a pain in the ass to wait to get them.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT ONE!!!! THIS THING IS AWESOME! WHEN I FIRST SAW CRAZY CART I THOUGHT IT'S ONLY FOR KIDS CUS IS SMALL , BUT THEN I SAW OLDER PEOPLE DRIVING IT , AND THEN I SAW THAT IT CAN CARRY NOT MORE THAN 140LB AND I AM 125 AND I REALIZED THAT IF I GET A LITTLE BIT FATTER , I WONT BE ABLE TO DRIVE IT ! SO ...THEN I WAS SEARCHING AND I FOUND THIS VIDEO AND OMG I LOVE U GUYS! AT LEAST NOW WHEN I BUY IT PEOPLE WONT LOOK AT ME STRANGE AND SAY - YOU ARE 18 YEARS OLD , U R TOO BIG FOR THIS THING! DONT U THINK SO? IT WILL FINALLY FIT MY YEARS! YEYYYY ! AROUND HOW MUCH IS GONNA COST ?
I am actually 18 yrs old and i'm 50 kg , don't know how many pounds is that?... but i think it's pretty normal for my age... i still fit in ''the small crazy cart'' and i dont eat fast food and i almost do not eat meat , so i don't think i'm gonna get fatter xDDDD The small Crazy cart is for kids anyway...it doesn't look as comfortable as the new version! :}
for the steering wheel, maybe you should have it so that the nob is removable. to allow users to use either or. it did look rather odd when he used it in the video. For wheels, maybe wheels that are durable and work great in generic concrete terrain, which is usually bumpier than the surface in the video. What if steering was down from the back wheels? do you think the rotation would be quicker? Or RWD ? also.... i think their should be a gas motor equivalent in the future. because that, would be amazing
Acceleration would be too slow. Instant torque=instant fun. Electrics have it, gas doesn't. Plus the design challenges are actually harder in that type of vehicle with the motor mounted above the wheel. Just upgrade the battery pack and controller.
Never realized I needed this
It looks great! I really love the idea and I want one badly! The only issues I can see are it seems that the wheels wear out really fast and the chain falls off pretty often (just what I've read in reviews). When will it come out? And how much would it be?
Is it coming out soon? I will probably buy one for my son but would definitely buy an XL version!
Does it go like 17 miles per hour instead of 12 like the other one
Very cool! How can I buy this toy in Brazil?
Please tell me it goes faster, like 20 mph faster.
20mph faster? Dude you wanted the crazy cart xl to go 32 mph? That's insane 😂🤣
It goes like 20mph faster
@brentferrell9372 Lol 9yrs later is better than never I suppose.
@@ShadowHunter hahaha. How does it feel being replied to almost a decade later? Are you still interested in the crazy cart? Have you grown too old for it now? How has life changed for you since your comment?
@NsXy Never got one. I have a real drift car I've been pouring money in to. Seems fun though
When does it come out? I really want a crazy cart, but if this one comes out in a few months I wait. So..?
December 2014
We love this! No need to miss out the big kids!!!
its 16+
Excited! When will you release XL? Expected price point? Where can we purchase or sign up for pre order? Also any chance the second generation crazy cart will be viable option for normal size adults who might not need all the XL features?
Thanks!
How can i buy the XL Cart? Are they available yet?
Does it work on gravel roads?
Dude... Awesome! Looks like a more comfortable size. So what are the chances of seeing some of the first 1000 in Australia?? I'm keen!!
When will it be launched.
I agree, the steering wheel if possible should be tilted , maybe not as much as 45º but 20º or something around that should be good
how much would xl version be???
Can't wait for XL!
When will this be released to,the uk
When is this coming out
That is awesomeness, so getting one I just hope it has a decent run time.
Why don't u make another video on XL
I so want one of these!!
Love it, want it!
Both me and my brother were gonna try getting the original CC. Shipped to the UK. Now you've made an XL version, it's on.
That's so awesome! How long does the battery last with a 240 lb driver?
Stock cart with full battery lasts 40 minutes , recommendation for it to charge is 12/24 hours
don't know if you guys are keeping count, but i will be buying two of these
I NEED ONE!!! Hhahaha so amazing!
Haha 10 years later
I bought a crazy kart and it fit pretty good my only complaint is the seat hurts after a while of riding and the pedal get messed up some times besides that the best toy ever really fun
when is they comming to skandinavia?
Right now, you might have to buy it on amazon or ebay and have it shipped to you.
What date is the release
I gotta have one of these.. TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
just read the description there, about maybe no putting the bucket over the wheel to prevent dirt, what if you put a mudflap or something over it, or a clear see through plastic cover on the drivers side as a sort of guard? like half a bucket? and leave the front bare, as seeing the wheel in action is pretty damn cool, love the bucket seat also, nice work :)

Oh nice to see the prototype :)
Where do I sign up!?
Preorder?
Great concept .... why should the kids have all the fun.
What about a Crazy Cart XC (with a roll cage) for off road use?
How much will it be
this is awsome.
Does it come with banana peels, turtle shells, or mushrooms? I'm totally going Mario Kart on that thing if I get one.
I'll definitely purchase one (if it's not absurdly priced). My only concern is the novelty wearing off quickly. What would be really fun if there was some sort of local Crazy Cart racing league. A group of racers/karters who don't take themselver too seriously, not that would be fun.
have to have it!

I read it as Crazy Carl. I had to know who he was and why I hadn't seen him at any of the meetings.
Amazing!
I WANT THAT!!!
Bring it to the UK please!
Take my money, please! Bought a crazy cart for my daughter. I want one for myself :)
Get this on Kickstarter! I am a backer. Just make sure that the tires are durable, easy to change. Just like a printer, you will make as much on replacement ink/tires as the cart. Do it!

We call them Mario karts here in canada. I want one but have yet to find a place that sells them :(
Awesome xD
Please make this. I have an original and at 180lbs and 5-11, it's cramped...

Kenneth Beck dude everybody knows how to boost an electric motor...nothing new here...
You would be suprised.....very very suprised....sometimes all it takes to go over someones head is the word electric.
kenneth beck what brand of lipos u got that are 10Ah?? i have optipower and turnigys but theyre only 5Ah each??

looks so different now than then.

i would like it if the steering wheel was angled like a real car.... more precise. oh and open wheel would be cool
please make the XL one.
Call it PhaseTwo Crazy Cart XL :-)
Looks like a creeper. You know a cart you use for working under a car. LOL!
If I get one im gonna try and do a gas swap. I got a ton of old lawnboy 2-strokes lying around my garage
