This game is fantastic to play! Naval battles in the Pacific are real nail biters! You really feel the agony of admirals trying to decide if they should continue a carrier battle with undiscovered combat groups prowling about. I encourage you to keep playing the game.
You have set yourself quite a task. I think the diplomacy/Intel will be the hardest to play solitaire. I have only played 3R and A3R, so I am very interested in this. Good luck.
It was mostly a junk blocker for the video, but I was working on the Scandinavian and London System so I needed something that I could read when I didn’t feel like looking at my phone. Ironically they’re the only two I ever win with, so I guess it was worth it
@@RudelTaktik0 Oh I only usually play against the computer on Lichess. I ranked in at 400ELO in 5+0 when I decided to start playing in May which was a bit of a wake-up call. Since then I decided to actually learn to play.
Get the game, watch the instructions, and find someone who will play with you. You will get the basics rather quickly and folks will play with you over the internet! It's fun!

I thought the book you have there was the classical Watson's "Secrets or Modern chess strategy". It's the same book format.
