I really love how in most of these vids Sean freestyled a lot and added his own elements that make them so different from the original choreography. Like you can’t even tell which part he freestyled because it just looks so natural.

The class routines tend to be around 60 seconds long, so usually anything after that is improvised. And Sean's isolations (non-dancer definition incoming) where he moves just one part of his body usually are so good they really have a different impact. Facial expressions and playing with details just becomes more individual over time

Yess haha See Me in a Crown, Undecided, 100%, Rushing back, and the last one (Bury a friend) were all "overlaps"/both Kaycee and Sean took those classes

Caleb, Sean in the classes he teaches stresses listening to the beats and importance of listening to the lyrics to assist with freestyles. He seems to be able to take the choreo of others and will emphasize certain moves over others similar to using punctuation or when a singer chooses where to rift or do vocal runs. Most of the student dancers are working to just remember the steps and the focus on doing things right rather than expressing an art form. Sean, Kaycee and other Elite level dancers are able to memorize the steps and moves in minutes
Some others who I've seen do this is Robbie Blue, Jade Chynoweth, Bailey Sok and Robert Green. When Sean adds a little bit extra spicy sauce to someone's choreo it's usually cuz he hears the need to use his body to express the lyric or beat. He's also a master at blending his freestyle to the choreo so it usually seems seamless and doesn't detract. Love Sean's dancing especially his 2019 work for Jake Kodish, Talia Fava, and Tessandra Chavez. Imagine him doing all these dances all me and with Kaycee as well as creating, directing and dancing in his hour-long film II. Can't wait for you to react to that one. He only gets better each year. btw Sean is goofy and he's always telling student dancers to break past their fears of looking goofy instead to embrace it.

To expliain the one at about 12 minutes, it's raw footage from a class, which explains why it's only folmed with a Phone. The guy passing in front in the shot is the person filming the actual professional video. I guess it didn't make it into the final video and that's why you only see the phone footage from another person in the class.

all the dances except for the first one overlapped with kaycee's but it looks different because that's just sean being sean, the one with the portrait angle was filmed by one of the dancers in the studio when the main camera guy was filming it for the actual video, these classes are 1/1.5 hours where the choreographers teach and the dancers later perform and the end bits are usually their own freestyles and these videos are uploaded usually by the choreographers' channels

you should definitely react to "Dermot Kennedy - Rome - Choreography by Talia Favia - ft Sean Lew, Courtney Schwartz"
it is one of the best dance performances i have ever watched, Sean had the honor of being partnered up with the choreographer herself and they created something on the spot that is so touching even Sean had a few tears in the end

Why is the title on all the sean as well as kaycee solo videos "All duets" instead of "all solos"?

Most of the dances are by the same choreographer if you focus you see the same name like in only part one there was like two or three by jake kodish

you should watch a whole class and then you can tell how much sean added by comparing to the rest (he adds a lot and freestyles at the end)
