Most people in real life behave that way, so weirdly enough it makes her believable that she never owes up to her shortcomings, and behaves like a broken record.

It seems like the reason Rika wanted forgiveness was because she was caught and knew she would've went jail, she was outnumbered and everyone hated her. She literally tries drugging the party guests but after her plan failed she just changes her mind and suddenly feels sorry for her actions? Even though the entire time the RFA was telling Rika what she was doing was immoral and wrong, she didn't give a damn and continued. Idk she just doesn't seem genuine and it feels like she's just tryna gain sympathy from the others.
I cannot stand that vicious snake. Being a victim of abuse and being mentally ill is no excuse for what she did. V’s only crime was negligence while Rika has an entire list of unforgivable crimes. V believed himself to be in love, and was blind to how fast her mental health and his relationship was deteriorating. He was unable to help her and convinced her to do whatever she wanted to him so she wouldn’t hurt herself or others. Which failed in the end since she blinded him, ended their relationship, kidnapped and tortured Saeran, and formed a cult in which she tortured her followers. V isn’t completely innocent but he’s a victim of domestic abuse and was gaslighted by Rika into believing everything was his fault, that he had to shoulder everything alone while he tried to protect the RFA. What I can’t forgive V for is neglecting Saeran so thoroughly when he had promised Saeyoung that he would be safe and happy.

Also this does go into it a bit in Vs route but escpecially in rika’s behind story there’s another super toxic influence in rika’s plans that basically played a massive part in the idea of the cult and using saeran as the puppet,, so those combined with her obvious trauma make me not absolutely hate her. I wish cheritz would give her more of a development arc so we could see her accept her wrong doings and try to become a better person, instead of making everyone else the victim except for her T-T

I mean yeah definitely he should’ve told and gotten help and if I’m correct or from what I’ve heard he did try to recommend it to her. Don’t take my word for that though. I’m not entirely sure. Honestly, I don't really like Rika. She did a lot of horrible things, she kidnapped, drugged and STABBED ppl for her own gain. But, I'm going to ask you guys this, how could you all forgive V and not her? This all started bc of their twisted relationship, neither of them is at fault, but for me V is the person responsible for somethings that she did. She literally said to him countless times that she was afraid of his love, she was afraid that all of that could be a lie, that she couldn't understand that, and practically tried to parts way w him, but him w his unconditional love, seeing her as an inspiration for his arts and seeing her as a blank canvas that he could draw whatever he wanted, stated that she was perfect the way she was, she was good the way she was, and that he would love her even if she strangled, blinded and stabbed him. She from that time was mental stable, but hearing this countless time wouldn't you guys think that you're very very important, when you're mental stable? Like, a person SWORE to you that they would get strangled just for you. They were in a very toxic, twisted and crazy relationship and both of them are at fault, but I ask you, why could you guys give V another chance and not rika? Is it bc she's not a hot boy? Everyone in that game had struggles, and we fixed it. Why can't she be fixed it too??

He was out of his unconditional love that he swore to get strangled in just 11 days? I just can't, really. The story is really good, but how it ended... The bad endings seemed too tempting (I just wanted to end my misery on that route lol), it was exhausting to have repetitive conversations with little results, because both his and Rika's convictions were too strong and disturbing. I was anxious all the time. After the secret ending I was so ready to fight for V's safety and recover, but I could think of a million better ways to deal with Rika, a sick person who needs help (even if against her will, because she's a risk to others and to herself). There were so many things that could have been avoided if only V were not so stubborn and self-destructive... His mental instability is just responsible as Rika's! I couldn't even get myself to like Jihyun, because everything about him screamed "Rika Rika Rika" and it was like there was very little left of him besides that. I don't know if you played Ray's route, but it was the only route that I could even minimally like V. I was expecting to love V, but I ended up loving Saeran and he's my favorite now. 😂
