Only just stumbled on this video despite it being up here for some time now. This is my area, pretty much my back yard tbh, and have cycled this area for nearly 30 years since I was a wee youngun. The footage is incredible & I can confirm the whole area is just as jaw droppingly stunning. If anyone is considering riding this area then dont hesitate to get up here - great riding any time of the year (yup, even winter!) & you won't need a flight or a bikebox to get here either.
Cheers Miss E for posting this up.

Lovely views, but that head with the gaping mouth and eyes is eerie.

It is a spooky experience in the woods when that head appears. It's a wonderful thing that you can climb up into a listen through the "ears" and see through the eyes.

Great vid, really enjoyed it. What tyres did you all use? is it worth going any larger than a 34mm? thanks

My friends here were rather under-tyred for this ride and were on 28s but they have since gone for gravel bikes with chunky tyres. In fact this was the ride that persuaded them! I was running 700x40 Maxxis Ramblers.
