On my Kronos 88LS i have now 2 Samsung 860 EVO SSDs, the system one is an EVO Pro of 500Gb and a second is a regular EVO of 2TB (for songs, audio reconding sessions, samples etc...). Room for life! But i have also recovered 1 perfect working Ethernet port and 3 working USB ports that are unused inside the motherboard. With a little hole in the bottom metal plate and one ethernet socket and 3 usb sockets, now i can connect other 3 external midi controllers (knobs, faders, pads, secondary keyboards, etc..) and can network the Kronos directly with a CAT5 ethernet cable (without any stoopid adapter!) and "talk" from my pc to the Krons via a peer-to-peer prog!
Good job. I have a new Koronos 2 and warranty. But after that a bigger ssd should be a good idea. The fan problem seems not actual in the Kronos 2 after my working with it.

nice work. can you tell us why the power cycling error that some of us get from time to time. how to fix this. ?
What size fan is that on the top of the CPU how did you mount it?
Do you have a list of the stuff?
On the first picture of the mother board the chipset is black and on the picture on the kronos is white. Whats the diferences ?
Is it possible for the korg kronos to get those kind of expansions with 2 x 256 GB SSD, what happens with the searchspeed and startup time
I'm a try to put another 512 GB SSD on the Kronos if the Kronos would let me a total of 1,024 GB of storage
