Wow! Looks murderous. I have always wanted to try Six Husbands Trail, but I think, at age 61, I know my limits. Six Husbands looks like, not only difficult, bur LONG (no other start but from Great Gulf Trail). I did Huntington Ravine when I turned 60, and it took all I had, so not doing that agin! Six Husbands looks worse in places, as the tight squeezes between rooks, and hugging boulders for fear of falling. My respiratory is good, but the legs don't have the range and strength they did 30+ years ago. It doubly looks more difficult if one has to descend on the Six Husbands Trail (or should I be dyslexic, and say Trial?). Thank-you for taking me there.

Congrats on the HRT, check out my video on that! The Six Husband's is only easier due to the ladders that the HRT does not have. It is very long either way you come in (about 18 miles round trip)
      Thanks for watching 👍🏻

@@MountainLife603 Not a problem! My body may be decaying, by my hiking heart is still that of a 20 year old. When I get to the White Mountains, my head is back at 25. The body...not so much.

Nice video! I've been wanting to hike Six Husbands for about 5 years now after doing Mt. Washington up the Ammonoosuc trail.

What time did you guys start the hike and what time did you guys get back to your vehicle? My friend and I are doing six husbands on Tuesday. We are trying to see if we can finish it before dark so we can set camp near our truck.

Ummmm... I really don't remember... probably started around 7 and finished around 3-4 pm... this was my buddies first hike so we took it easy and much slower than normal. You will have plenty of time if you start before Sunrise.
