@@TayGee-mh8eothats only an argument use Kobe to discredit him. Not use against most top 5 candidate. Kareem & magic/Lebron & any of his top 2(wade/bosh or Kyrie/love), Tim Duncan(David Robinson, manu/parker, or Kawhi). Ppl cherry pick argument against Kobe.

@@themagnificentone4195 I don't know what you're talking about. I'm only saying that...sure if Kobe had started on his own team (He had the choice, by the way. Charlotte wanted to draft him but Kobe threatened not to play for them), he would have scored more points. BUT he would not have won those 3 championships he won early in his career. I don't think anyone would disagree with that. When you get into these what-if's, you need to look at it from all sides.

⁠​⁠he won two with Shaq, that kills your “he wouldn’t win theory. Onve again, only an argument use against Kobe in the greatness argument. Shaq had time to show he could win without him. Stat wise shaq hurt his numbers. But it’s not the main factor. If you watch early Kobe career, his coach wasn’t starting or playing as much.

Do you seriously believe Kobe would have won 3 titles had he been drafted to Charlotte or had been the leader of his own team from 2000-2002? It took Jordan 7 years but Kobe would have done it in 4? ⁠​​⁠the only one emotional here is you. lol I’m fine. I’m not that invested but making points. Agreed with everything EXCEPT what u keep claiming as a fact that he wouldn’t win early on. We don’t know that. Not saying he would either. Duncan and magic won VERY early. Shaq & that loaded team ain’t won shot before Kobe became Kobe. But u do make good points which I’m not debating. Just saying we don’t know.
