I appreciate when drummer is unlimited in music taste. I am classic hard n' heavy fan but like to play different styles of music and I always try to get versatile sound from my drum kit to fit in any genre.
@@BrianTheChristopher for sure but I want to get views from non Dixon artists because, let’s be honest, an endorsee won’t say that they are bad, you know?
@@artpereira I will, but I do that by not even reviewing it. I am about to release a video about their new double pedal and I had an issue with it I will be talking about.
Hey Ty, It's a aluminum 8x14 shell with a Trick throw off (And if I'm not mistaken, I think the shell is Trick too) I bought off www.drumfactorydirect.com I bought all the parts from there, drilled the holes and assembled everything. It's been my workhorse for the past 4 years now. I'll use other snares in my collection but I always come back to this because it sounds so good.
how many guitarists tell you those drums ring too long...LOL...those are gorgeous. I had a guitarist tell me that at a gig. I told him 'that's like me telling you your guitar is too in tune". Any way, killer aggressive toms. Felt the kick in my taint...who knew. Growing up Dixon was budget stuff. Nothing budget about these. !!
LOL!!! Thank you so much for the compliment!!! I agree 100% about tone and sustain with drums!!! And Dixon has stepped up their game. Getting ready to shoot a review on their new double pedal and it's butter, just like their single pedal!!!
Brian,
What an amazing looking and sounding set.
Those floortoms , thunder on legs!
The Artisan series are very very good!!!
I signed with Dixon in 2020 as their first Canadian endorser. I take delivery of my custom Artisan kit next week..l am so excited!
Congratulations!!! I love my kit! I'm getting ready to do a review on their new double pedal.
@@BrianTheChristopher I ordered that, too. It looks amazing!

Thank you so much Ivan!!!
Excellent review brother. You sound great as usual.
Thanks man!!!
I may have missed it, but what are the depths of your rack toms? Fantastic sounding set! I’ve always loved African mahogany!
Hey Ty! 10x6.5 & 12x7.
Hey Brian, love your videos. Can you're tell me what reso heads you were using with the colortone batters? Thank you
Thanks so much Vaughn! Those are Embassadors I was using on the batter side.
Sorry Brian, I messed up my question. I was wanting to know what reso heads were on your toms in this video. Thanks

Was looking for impartial reviews of Dixon drums but can only find from endorsees. This is like the whole Soultone thing.
LOL! If there's something to be said, I'll say it regardless of endorsement.

Ya... but do the have them in black velvet? With sprayed in fiberglass tone focusing man root?
That's only for an exclusive club.
What snare is this. It sounds fantastic!
