I love A Close Shave now, but it used to give me the willys as a little kid, especially the scene where they're all trapped in the Knit-o-Matic and Wallace nearly gets sucked up the pipe. I'd say it's probably the darkest of all the Wallace And Gromit episodes so no wonder it made such an impression on me as a lad.

When I watched this as a kid for the first time, for a long time I got confused and thought that the machine after sucking Preston up had turned Preston into a robot rather than just shave his fur off. Also, I could not help, but feel a little pity for him once he got rebuilt by Wallace. How about you?
@@lailaplaysdbd4004 It would have been nice had they been able to somehow reprogram him back to good rather than destroy his body and rebuild it in a smaller form on wheels. Then again, in case he ever malfunctioned/turned bad again, he wouldn't be able to do much.

When I was 2 years old, I used to call Preston Crust and Cruston, I think it was probably because I was still learning to talk.
