Like #13. Yeah brings back old memories, especially when you split into 5th, that trans had a little whine like mine. I spent a few thousand hours over 7 years in an 89 L 9000 [had an 86 hood on it] w/a 425 b-block and 8 speed hauling 139k#'s.
Lucky 13. This 93 has a c-block but its still all mechanical. Ford de-rated it to 325hp but it will still pull a wagon plum full of corn. I bet you made that four and a quarter bark dragging that much weight!
@@beavercommander Yup. A regular trip was from Nipigon to Wawa. 220 miles took 5 hours of pulling many hills. Id hit the bottom of certain hills at 2350 [coasting 200 rpm faster than governor] start my climb and eventually settling on whatever gear [usually 4th] to try to get er' to pull at 14~1500.
Thanks man. I like the nice and easy power of the caterpillar, but a Detroit on the governor gets your heart beating a little faster and puts a smile on your face.
