Great program. A sales mentor taught me about offering additional services in the building and design industry and I'm impressed that Mr. Mullin offers full-service capability for his clients now. It's called "taking them through the candy store" when you can show a client additional goodies they might want from you.

Great advice from Keith, especially his mention of targeting "sales people". Most (probably all) first-time inventors mistakenly try to pitch the CEO of their prospective licensee. This is (almost always) a total waste of time. Sales people however, are easy to connect with and have priorities that closely align with the inventor and often become the inventor's Trojan Horse.

I can’t believe it took me until 40 to realize my true gift and dream is to be an inventor. You’d think I would have figured it out earlier considering I’ve always said I love making things with my hands and I love learning how things work.
I guess it took to 44 to realize I can do it and when I got to the point where I started believing it, I signed up for IR. I just started two weeks ago! Wooo! 🥳

I learned alot from the book "Patent it yourself".I have a design patent for the automotive industry. The book is very helpful.Used to check it out at the library, seems more difficult to check that book out lately..Looking to get it licensed.

Yeah...David Pressman (patent it yourself) published an entry I mentioned. The word score (notch, scratch) is used on a page for structure.Used on one design I abandoned.

@@inventRighthey Steven, I’m going to purchase your book from Amazon because an attorney recommended it to me. Love the channel. The problem is, the product I want to license is a design patent. And even worse, for the food industry (ice cream/cookie). Is the book going to show how I should approach these companies in 2023? Thank you ❤

Quick question if you have the time . I live in Australia and have a concept I want to pitch to a large company who distributes to stores in Australia but is based over seas. Would having a PPA in Australia stop the company from producing it in another country ?
