The Kings of that sweet guitar driven Southern Rock. R.I.P. Master Rossington. Music absolutely will never forget you. Maybe you are back together with your old friends now.
Georgia Peach is a woman from the state of Georgia. Makes me feel right at home 🏡. They are considered back in the day a Southern Belle because of the southern accent when they talk.
It just doesn't get any better than this musically. Guitars, piano, horns, and the boogie woogie sound. Its what the 20s were like i think. Just great swing music.
When I think of the guitar army that Lynyrd Skynyrd put together in 1976, it was game changing at the time and put these Jacksonville Rockers at the top of the touring bands. Great songs, great musicians, and a most unique sound that stole our affection during this great time in our history. I have the One More From The Road and Street Survivors CD recorded to my Sony Walkman DAP and they get played often while traveling down highways and country roads where I live in SW, Ohio. I am guessing Call Me the Breeze gets played the most and what a freaking rocking tune Mr. Breeze is that really show cases what fantastic musicians these men were. R I P all Lynyrd Skynyd members, and a special shout out to you, Gary Rossington.
It's among my top three roarin' down the highway, guaranteed speeding ticket songs. Others would be L A Woman by the Doors and Highway Star by Deep Purple.
I saw them 1/1976 when they came into the bar I was at and got up and played using the house band’s equipment. I danced to Sweet Home Alabama. Ten years later after the 1977 plane crash we saw them on their tribute tour. Fantastic band and they were great people. Being from Texas I love southern rock and appreciated your reactions. The former drummer, Artimus Pyle, is still touring with theArtimus Pyle Band. which plays Skynryd songs.
I've watched several of reactions and I have enjoyed them all... You should hear Call Me the Breeze by JJ Cale on an album named Naturally. JJ Cale's songs were covered by Lynyrd Skynyrd and also Eric Clapton and Poco. Continue doing what you do... Blessings from South Carolina...
:24 "I want to raise the volume"..........pretty much universal for every Skynyrd song...:)....just an FYI... a Georgia Peach is a girl born in the state of Georgia......and they are awesome girls!!!!!!!
1:00 Your dance was basically the twist. Chubby Checker was famous for "Doing the Twist". Oh hey, that's an Oldie you should review. I'll see if I can find a video for you.

Well the best next song to play after "Call Me The Breeze" imo has got to be "I Know A Little" WHICH IS A SUPER DANCEABLE SONG and seems like it was most made for the DANCEFLOOR than any other of their songs. Plus its just super great & fun. You can't go wrong with it...just make sure you've already got your dancing shoes on!😉 And "Junkie" is a nice, gritty southern rock song by them you can't miss.🎯
@billc.5861 I'm a HUGE LS fan and have been since early 70s. The 4 lead guitarists were each so different and complimentary in their styles. Gary was super thick, melodic, and technical - in many ways the backbone of the LS sound, Allen was the rock god guitar screamer (but also a fantastic rhythm guitarist), Ed King was super flexible and could play rock, blues, country, pop riffs, etc. Steve Gaines was similar to Ed in overall talent but had a more twangy style and was a great slide player - there's times he starts to channel Duane Allman. There were times live when he mirrored Allen note for note, but also had stylistic versatility that Allen just couldn't match. Had he lived, Steve would have evwntually been recognized as a Top 10 guitarist for sure.
That was a JJ Cale song originally but Skynyrd took it over . .I think you would like JJs style also.. Lynyrd songs recommended Poison Whiskey -- Saturday Night Special
Love JJ Cale - not well-enough known, but a fantastic songwriter and performer. Call Me the Breeze, Cocaine, After Midnight, Magnolia... The list goes on and on.
"Lynyrd Skynyrd- Ballad Of Curtis Loew (Audio)" Skynyrd is one of THE Best "southern rock bands" from this era, this band has experienced some real tragedies RIP: to all band members...U R Missed 🔥🎸💯 Glad to see ya'll enjoy great music 🎶 🩵
Another fun Lynard Skynard song is "Gimme three steps", you will love it. Just to avoid confusion with this other song there is a phrase that goes, "I was cutting the rug". In American culture this is slang for dancing.
@tracyyork1428 you are right about guaranteed speeding ticket. 1992 going east out of Columbus Ohio on fresh paved I-70 got a ticket in a double bunk KW cabover because of this song. The state patrolman took sympathy on me and knocked the speed down when I told him this song was on. Guess he was a Skynyrd fan
I have to say you two are my favorite couple to watch reaction videos on TH-cam. You're fun, energetic and just fun to watch. And you pick great songs to react to. Keep up the great work. I'll keep watching.
Y’all are the cutest couple. 😂Y’all look like you’re having so much fun. So, this song style is called “Boogie Woogie” and is one of the best examples of that style, in my opinion. Also, this is popular song with truck drivers. 😂

We need to see more of Carroll dancing and bruising Ellie 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Note to self ( wear protection if ever dancing with Carroll) 😆 🤣. Great reaction guys and I always love seeing you guys smiling and happy. Many prayers and much love my friends ❤️ 🙏
I just watched give me three steps. And my comment erased after I made it so I'm not going to replicate it. But I was just saying I'm 60 and you guys are cracking me up and it's a funny and well-written song, the various instrumental lines interweave almost like a Bach fugue, and so forth and for something else Up Tempo I suggested I know a little from their final album before the plane crash, Street survivors, which was originally issued with flames around the band photo on the record album cover, but then the plane crash happened there in 1977 and ended the band. And it was immediately yanked and reissued without the flames, which is what most people have. And of course nowadays it doesn't matter at all because it's all streaming. But they were quite the deal when I was in grade school junior high school high school. I was devastated along with so many others at the plane crash. It was so much so that here in the United States anyway, they stopped showing the normal movie previews before the main movie you would go see in the movie theaters as a kid which back then that was the primary form of entertainment Beyond just television. There wasn't any internet or anything. And it was amazing. They actually lost the revenue to go ahead and replace three or four movie trailers before the main event, with this quickly put together like 8 minute documentary about Lynyrd Skynyrd and the plane crash. And a lot of footage of them doing Freebird live.
If you guys will continue to react to Lynyrd Skynyrd songs I promise you that your channel will literally blow up with subscribers. It doesn't matter what Skynyrd song you react to. Don't wait for suggestions just start picking songs yourself. Every single song these guys recorded is a true masterpiece.
Elie. You are a lucky man. Your wife Carol is an absolute delight !! Her energy and natural enthusiasm must be challenging to keep up with. Add in a song to hype her up, and you've got both hands full, my friend. If there were more women like her, marriage rates would rise immediately. Hold on to her, my friend. You've got a real gem there. If you don't, you may call her the breeze, uz she'll be blowing down the road. Maybe next you could listen to the Rossington-Collins Band. That's what people want to see when they watch your videos they want to see you feel it and truly get into it without any thing blocking your mind!..right? Otherwise it kind of sucks. I don't know what your background is if it's Arab or something but as white business owner I'd love to know. I saw Skynyrd live 3 times it was the greatest concerts in my life I was a lead singer for over 20 years and we will never come close to this band.
