Selena was such an amazing woman!! I can proudly say I saw her perform twice before she was big. I grew up in the 80's in Houston when she was doing little shows and quinceaneras and my dad took me. Then, I got to be there for this performance at the Astrodome... such a huge loss 💔... feeling nostalgic after watching the Netflix series.
I also watched her perform a few times in San Antonio and her performances were always top notch! I loved all her music beginning from when she was about 15 years old or so. I don’t know about you but when she passed I felt like I lost a friend. I still miss her. 💔

Selena was such an amazing woman!! I can proudly say I saw her perform twice before she was big. I grew up in the 80's in Houston when she was doing little shows and quinceaneras and my dad took me. Then, I got to be there for this performance at the Astrodome... such a huge loss 💔... feeling nostalgic after watching the Netflix series.
I’m so jealous. I was only 4 years old when she died I turned 5 in October that year. in 1995
I also watched her perform a few times in San Antonio and her performances were always top notch! I loved all her music beginning from when she was about 15 years old or so. I don’t know about you but when she passed I felt like I lost a friend. I still miss her. 💔

If you watch Beyonce’s concerts, she shares the spotlight. People never notice, but she always has an all female band. She had an amazing female guitarist on one of her tours in early 2000s.
