Historic Motorcycle Racing at Phillip Island and Broadford in Victoria.
This documentary was commissioned by Margaret Dymond the owner of the Penrite Oil company. Margaret and the Dymond family have made a major contribution and commitment to supporting historic motor sport in this counrty.
Blue Range Studio is proud to be associated with Penrite, producing a number of projects with them over the years including, The History of the Rob Roy Hill Climb and Spirit of Speed, a history of motorcycle racing in Australia.
Classic Thunder was one of our first efforts.
Looking at it now i think we captured a great snap shot of the sport and the colorful people involved during 2003.

I saw the Vincent #87 was that the one in the Norton featherbed frame. If it is I remember it when it races at My Panorama.

Good,but the jazz music is not mixed correctly as it drowns out the sounds of the bikes and volume levels are out
