      Keep practicing and focus on supporting the machine properly. It's also much easier to practice straight lines with larger needle groupings and as you gain muscle memory with practice, go smaller.
      I still struggle with very thin lines. They show every little mistake 😭

    Hey thanx for this. I have a tattoo to do on Sunday. It is in some fancy cursive, and I have been stuck on which approach I should take on it. I'm confident in my line work, but was bouncing on 1201,1203 or 1205rl. You definitely helped me on my choice 1203rl it is. You most definitely get my channel subscription

    I bought my 1st and only tattoo gun 5 yes ago and I m really excited to get back at tattooing since I quit drinking in order for me to concentrate in learning from the best, any recommendations on buying new equipment but, I'm really broke almost to the point where I want to grab a drink instead. Can't really do that to my dream of becoming a great tattoo artist cause I BELIEVE IN MYSELF.
    I will watch a lot of your videos b4 I start working on my body.

    Perfect video!I see you use a 3rl.i was using a 3rl too on fake skin and at 8 volts it was tearing the skin i mean when i was stretching the skin later after i finished i could see the lines separate a bit...to solve this i had to go down to 4.7 volta...4.2stroke.On real human skin though i didnt have any problem with 8 volts...what do you think?

      ...on human skin i dont have that problem...

    • @redrobotmonkey
      @redrobotmonkey ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AlexandrosNikolakis I'm new at this, and usually do 6.8=7.0 for a 5 or 3 RL. I usually look on the other side of the fake skin to see if I am going too deep or did too much damage. I did a tattoo today on real skin on all those settings. My problem is I go too deep or not deep enough.
