I've seen some other retainer videos, and they'll often coat the teeth impression with a "separator" first before applying the polymer and monomer.
Is this necessary? Are there advantages to doing that?

I'm sorry but you have to ask your Dentist for a new Retainer. there is nothing we can do about it. Thanks 🙂
Is there a way to make the retainer stay in place without a wire? I just need something to cover sores on my upper palette related to lupus.
Or could the dental putty usually used with a plastic mold tray be a better option. I need something that could protect the painful palette during eating whenever I have flareups.

Hello. 3-4 weeks? I think that is too long. In our clinic it only takes 2-3 days for the patient to get their retainer.

Hello. It will not bend back to normal fit bro. You need to visit your Dentist for a new retainer.

Hindi po. May ibang materials mo na ginagamit para sa crowns, veneers at filling. Ang self curing po ay pang denture at retainer lamang karaniwan ginagamit. Thanks po

It depends on the case of your teeth. But the designs of retainer, the patient will choose.

What can you use instead of self curing liquid 😞
Hello.. we may also use acrylic heat cure liquid and powder. But it is a different process. It takes longer time of processing
But can’t we use polymer clay or something less difficult to find

Hindi po maam. Wala pong ready made na retainer maam. Parang finger print po ang gums, lahat po ay magkakaiba kaya hindi pwede ang readymade na retainer. Kailangan sukatan ang bawat patient para maigawa ng retainer. Thanka po & GodBless

Pwede po irequest retainers ko na may design tas idamay ko na din taas kahit di nabrace baba lang po may brace ko.

Natural pp ba na medyo masakit sa unang fit
Normal lang po na mejo masakit pero pag masakit na masyado pwede nyo po ibalik sa dentist nyo para iadjust ang retainer. Babawasan po ng konti ang gums sa part na masakit

Hi, is possible for any one of us to make our own retainers with these materials? You know in case we cant afford to get replacements. Or is it probably best to leave it to our orthodontics? Also would it be less expensive to buy the materials?
Its not possible because in order to make you own retainer,you also need to have the proper equipment like high speed Bench grinder, polisher and all the materials for a Dental Laboratory.

I'm Sorry Ma'am, our patients should come to our clinic personally to have their impression,because the Dentist will going to fit the retainer into the patient's mouth.
There is some adjustment that needs to do during fitting.

Processing fee po ang binabayaran sa pagpapagawa ng retainer, hindi lang po materials. Isa pa po hindi lang acrylic ang materials na ginagamit. May caststone, plaster of paris,alginate bench grinder polisher, orthowire. Doctors fee.
