FTX Outback 3 Paso - Is it good Value?

- Contrary to what I say here there is a mode to keep the front white lights turned on. )
Spured on from my love of the FTX Ravine, here is an overview of the new Outback 3 from FTX. I’ll be taking it to the Funduro event this weekend to see how it goes for £189 RTR - บันเทิง

I totally agree about the lights. let me turn them on or off and I loathe seeing blinkers on the trail!!! I am not going to work in it , I am in the middle of the woods crawling over boulders so the car behind me need not worry if I am going left or right next just that I am not flipping over backwards on top of them!! Flashing lights are for emergency vehicles :)
Yeah mate, I found after the vid that I could keep the front lights on white but no idea why you want a disco? Would prefer rear lights or spot lights for sure. Thx for stopping by dude
looks really good and scale. i want another crawler to join my ravine but something more scale realistic. love the ftx geo but almost 400eur...love the simplicity of this one, only one gear but slow control good enough. 390 simple motor and basic transmission. Since its light, power is more than enough and battery lasts longer. only think 200eur is a little bit too much, 150eur would be a no brainer.
Its a lot better than you expect tbf and with increased costs globally, sub £200 ain’t bad imo )
@@Pezzapoo in Portugal i cant find it below 230eur which is already a little too close to other superior models. This dam global inflation is damaging everything. Also, this model is sold out on most supliers! ebay and alliexpress fees are outrageous sometimes like 50 eur!

Ah ha ha, that's my kind of unboxing. 😎 And thanks for the mentions! You should be able to switch the headlights so they stay on all the time, by the way. Oh, and unplug the indicator wires too. Couldn't agree more on 'what we want from lights' thing... here's a thought RC industry, have you tried looking at a real car? Stop me if I'm getting too left field here.
And finally, thanks for knowing the proof isn't in the pudding where everyone says it is... 🥴
Thx Stevo, thought you might like it ) found the lights can stay on with switch 3 thx and i can unplug everything but wire 4 now ) what a waste of wiring ( yeah they go all out for scale yet we boogy on the dancefloor with lights??? Sack that dev guy. Do they say its in the pudding? Probably gen Z or a Gloomer 😂 I was close to getting the Geo but liked the charm of this too much and it was cheap like me. Got some custom decals being cut today woop
@@Pezzapoo Just avoid getting all four wheels heavily bound up at once - that little gearbox doesn't like it.

@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 Just ordered a HSP gearbox Stevo, can then put a 540 motor in it. Not that I’m anticipating gearbox death at Funduro or anything)

RC4WD mud slingers 1.9 and no they were fine

Have you got a link to the mudslinger tires and wheels? Also, the Jimny in real life isn’t a “pretend off-roader” it’s actually a very capable little truck with some good tires 👍
google mudslinger tyres rc4wd 1.9, the wheels are the standard Jimny ones, its still a pretend off roader )
