I've been curious to try out the rosewood clarinet of Chinese production that I saw on Amazon for quite some time. Now that I've purchased it, I'd like to report on what's good and what's not so good, and whether the purchase is worth it.
The case is made of cheap faux leather and also arrived damaged (someone cut it while unpacking). Some accessories are included: a few polishing cloths, a screwdriver, gloves, etc. The set also includes two barrels (short and long), a mouthpiece with a basic ligature and reed, as well as cork grease. However, the accessories are not of high quality. The clarinet itself was well packed, wrapped in paper and plastic. The areas where the barrels, lower joint, and bell come into contact with the tenons and experience the highest physical stress during assembly are reinforced with metal rings. The wood appears to be well crafted and polished, and the metal of the mechanism looks quite sturdy. The clarinet has a beautiful brown color.
After playing the clarinet and conducting an intonation test, I have come to the following conclusion.
In summary, the clarinet has a light response, pleasant tone, and good sealing, although mechanical adjustments should be made at a few points. For 300 euros, this is not a bad performance. However, I have decided to return the instrument because the Yinfente brand has significant intonation issues. I couldn't find any information about the tuning in the description, whether it's at 442 or 440 Hz. As it turned out, 440 Hz would have been appropriate. Generally, I would advise against purchasing this clarinet. However, if you don't mind intonation issues too much, you can try the instrument. Perhaps you'll be lucky and receive a well-tuned specimen. Otherwise, the clarinet can serve as a donor for other clarinets (such as barrels, bells) or as a beautiful decorative piece for your home or practice room. The main problem mainly lied in the lower joint (although A' and B' were also too high). I experimented by combining a Selmer lower joint with the Yinfente upper joint, and the intonation was much better. However, this requires manipulation of the mechanics to ensure a perfect fit of both clarinet parts. But this was only an experiment and doesn't need to be replicated. P.S.: I forgot to mention that the pads are made of leather and the keys are silver-plated. It seems that the tone holes are also lined with a thermoplastic material, so no moisture is absorbed during play."😂

Some of the intonation problems are caused by your low tongue position and poor articulation.
It may be, but strangely enough, the Selmer intonates well when I play it with the same articulation and low tongue position.
