A tip for when u buy stuff from shein. When u tap on a clothing product, scroll down and tap on the description, then u can see what it's made of. I always avoid clothes made of polyester. Try looking for clothes made of wool or cotten
I think completely avoiding polyester is unnecessary, but trying to aim for polyester blends where it’s less than half of the material content at the least would be helpful!
actually artificial fabrics are essential to modern human life. its not bad for us, and actually a lot of us would have a lot less clothes without it. HOWEVER, you can try to aim with clothing with close to 100% of one material, that way you can recycle it.

@RuMadddd First of all, I buy fast fashion, it's hard not to. Fast fashion is easy, and u would say that's what you use for basic needs : t shirt, underwear, some sweater, etc. Fast fashion is something common.
Now, there is a difference between buying essential stuff and over consumming things you don't need essentially. Thus, she does it from a store that's worldwide known for neglecting human rights and exploiting uygurs ( I don't know if I write that right).
The argument of people being too poor doesn't work either for her. She's buying extra stuff, as I said. If she didn't have the money she wouldn't have.
Finally, I don't mean that's people can't spoil themselves and buy cute stuff. The most important thing in that cruel world is to keep empathy as a priority, you can still but cute things, but there are more ethical way

I'm sorry, but how are you denying the existence of child labour in shein? It's pretty much common sense that fast fashion companies and even big companies like Apple and addidas use child labour. You can find many videos showing kids sowing clothes and stuff.

My intention was to point out that SHEIN is not the only clothing factory employing child labor; unfortunately, many other factories engage in similar practices. What's even more concerning is that some factories exploit North Korean refugees by making them work in exchange for minimal food and shelter in poor conditions.
