Atari 1027 in Aktion

Testausdruck auf einem Typenwalzendrucker Atari 1027.
Angeschlossen ist er via Atari SIO an einen Atari 800. Der ausgedruckte Text wurde über den BASIC-Befehl "LPRINT" an den Drucker gesandt. Der Atari 1027 kam im Zuge der Atari XL-Serie auf den Markt, kann aber an allen 8-Bit-Computern, also sowohl der älteren Atari 400/800-Serie als auch der neueren XE-Serie genutzt werden.

Test printing by an Atari 1027 impact (5-wheels-on-a-drum) printer.
The printer is connected to an Atari 800 via Atari SIO. The printed text was sent to the printer by using the BASIC command "LPRINT". The Atari 1027 came to the market for the Atari XL line of 8 bit computers but can be used with all 8 bit Atari computers - the older Atari 400/800 series and the newer XE series, too.
