Just picked up mine the other day and absolutely love it! I’m not one for compact pistols but was in the market for something not full size for once and an S2C came in the shop. I held it, tested the trigger, took it home. The S2C has changed my view on compact handguns. Looking forward to snagging a P01 next!

I picked this gun up back in January and have been carrying ever since I had a holster made from legendary firearms and it’s fire, I carry it with the hammer down safety off you really don’t need that safety your not going to set that trigger off in double stage x300 ultra, Trijicon RMR type 2. This has replaced my
X-macro and I pimped that sig out.

Had a 75 compact steel frame full dust cover w/safety. They only shipped the sku over here like once. 37 oz. Though it was gonna be a ridiculously soft gun to shoot because of the weight. I got one 2 weeks ago and shot multiple groups with all hits touching only problem is I have it adjusted as high as I can adjust and at 7 yards it’s always 4 inches low. I have had so many CZs all shot amazing including a ts2 sport. I had a buddy who is a marksman and has a collection of his own CZs and he was shocked at how bad it shot and said to take it to our local gunsmith or send it back to CZ, it’s that bad! Got a new P4x storm and right out of the box today it was killer and recoil was a joke! Love this beratta!!! And was also shooting my platypus which is sick ,the gun rocks and my compact Kimber which is a tack driver up there with my SFX rival! The CZ is a big disappointment especially since it’s double the price of the storm! If the gunsmith can’t fix it it’s going back to CZ!!!

Great pistol but in a weird category. Too big/heavy to really carry well plus not the best levers for cocked and locked. It needs to be SAO. Two different trigger pulls suck no matter what the purpose of the gun is. Unfortunately the safety on the CZ75's isn't very positive so carrying this one cock and locked isn't a comforting notion.

    • @red2977
      @red2977 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@noquartergiven7789 yea I been trying to find this gun but honestly I don't know how comfortable I would be carrying it. Between the exposed hammer, lack of decocker and a safety that can be a little difficult to manipulate I'm a bit hesitant. Carrying it cocked and locked is def not something I am comfortable with, which means I would need to deal with the double action pull. On top of that I heard that there isn't a clearly defined wall. That sometimes people are surprised when it goes off during trigger pull. I want to know where the wall is and I want to know exactly when the pistol is going to fire if I'm using it for self defense. I'm thinking now that maybe I would be better off getting a CZ-P10C to carry and then later the regular sized shadow 2 for the range. This gun looks gorgeous and I am getting caught up in aesthetics and shooting performance but there are other considerations with carry that need to be factored in.

    • @pewpewtactical

Why did you turn off comments on newer videos? Are you afraid of any criticism?
BTW, stop recommending Canik garbage, like your last video. A carry gun shouldn't be "ammo sensitive", that just means unreliable.
Canik is from Turkey, a government owned defense conglomerate. Turkey not only supported and armed ISIS, they currently support Hamas.

I like you Chad, you seem feisty. TH-cam recently had a bug where it would randomly turn off comments on a lot of guntuber content. And no, I welcome criticism when it's warranted. It makes me better at my job.

    Compact.
    Open hammer?
    Pass.
I get there are some open carry people out there that will love this gun. I also don't really think open carry is very intelligent most of the time (the exception would be standing armed guards and officers who have proper holsters obv)
CZ should have taken FN's lead on the reflex on this one. Hide that hammer. People want the trigger response, not a hammer which can get caught on clothes and cause an accidental discharge..
Manufacturers need to get away from traditional gunsmithing if they want to make good money. Do new (but simple) things to improve these weapons. If there is a 'problem' with x weapon, make a solution.
Leave exposed triggers for those 2k 1911s that belong in 1911.

Please explain to me how a, "hammer can get caught on clothes and cause an accidental discharge."?

    • @thisisashan
      @thisisashan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@deandaniel6504 so one of the biggest reasons for accidental discharge is a hammer getting caught on clothes, snapping almost fully back but not quite, giving it enough pressure to accidental discharge (but not locking safely back)
Some pistols got a very bad name for that. Making people regret appendix carry.
It is basically the whole reason striker fire took over both carry/conceal. (Glock)
Or why companies don't just serrate their carry/duty pistols like they do match/show pistols. Getting your firearm caught on a zipper or something would be horrible in a self defense situation

@@thisisashan You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. In just about every hammer fired pistol, including 1911s and CZ 75s, a partially cocked hammer would just fall into half cock position unless the trigger is pulled. PD/duty CZs also have firing pin blocks very similar to Glocks.
The actual problem with hammer fired pistols is something like lint, mud, or ice can get between the hammer and the firing pin, possibly preventing the gun from going off. Snagging was only a problem with the older M1911s and 75s because of their long lever-style hammers which could interrupt the draw, but NOT cause the gun to go off like you claim. Modern pistols have rounded hammers that mitigate this issue.
Regardless, you are completely off base to say hammer fired pistols are more dangerous for appendix. If anything, it’s the exact opposite. People generally agree DA/SA guns are safER for CC for several reasons, but many think striker fired pistols are “safe enough” with training and a good holster.

This is why TH-cam is bad for people that are new to ccw or anything for that matter. Accurate information is hard to find but experts are everywhere.

@southeastwhitetails yeah, sadly, you are understating, not overstating.
Everyone feels the need to justify "why I use x." For most or them, it is because "Gun shop convinced me X was good and it felt okay."
Tbh, a hammer is all about the trigger feel. As they are the best "plinking" pistols. By far. And I enjoy them.
CZ and Smith and Wesson both had major recalls this last year for hammer misfires caused by the safety of not stopping a hammer that gets pulled back too far without locking. Common problem I'm referencing here.
Gotta wonder how many dicks blown off justifies a multimillion dollar recall. Or two.
Whether people want to accept it or not, polymer Glock clones in compact/sub sizes are meant for conceal. Nothing else is great at it. These glock clones were designed for conceal.
Yes, you can use a 1911.
Yes, your gun will print more than a Ru Paul special, making it not concealed, just covered
Anyways, my whole point is, companies should take the lead FN reflex set out for. Very much a sleeper gun. Hammer feel without getting snagged.
No reason to put your life at risk.
Tho maybe people that do this are all closet trans?

For the life of me I don't see the point or role of this gun. Relatively heavy and big, I'd much rather carry something else. Too big for IDPA CCP, inferior to the full size model for USPSA/IPSC PROD. Furthermore expensive for what the CZ 75 small frame family is.

CZ shadow two single action only is the best towns down. There’s a reason why the prices have climbed back up to the high $1300-$1400 plus range and that’s not for the optic ready version. I heard they might stop making the single action only version which means the prices are going to skyrocket.
