RAF Scampton 1997 Revisited

A short slideshow of buildings I snapped in 1997 during an official visit whilst the station was under "Care and Maintenance"
Lets hope common sence prevails and that our RAF heritage is protected properly. Not belittled, forgotten and insulted!

I was here for a week in June 1993 on a principle's of flight course when staff with the air training corps

With you 100% on protecting this sacred ground. To desecrate it is unimaginable.
Do all the buildings / infrastructure still exist as in photos?

Not sure but I think the only one that may have gone from those shown, would be the unidentified building at the end.

@@GrahamInnes1 I think that last building was the synthetic Navigational trainer extended out to the left as you look at the photo. Similar building at Swinderby also had a first floor window added to the original high square section.
