EXE doesn't have combat experience, as he's a silent hunter. EXE has more strength than Sonic, as he can tear limbs off of the main cast. He also is more powerful in his base form, but cannot transform into Super Sonic due to his evil nature. But he can make up for this, as he is highly intelligent, and invincible (in Sonic terms, he has infinite lives), so he can learn as he fights very quickly, and for as long as he wants until he finally wins by tiring out Sonic.
