First of all, not trying to stir any drama or spread negativity because I just love Ateez. I just genuinely want to know atinys' thoughts on the line distribution of blind. I know that there's always gonna be a member who gets the least lines in a song and that's a fact. Also, the line distribution may vary according to how well the tone of a member goes with the genre. I get that. If all the members have 20-25 seconds and one member gets like 12-15 seconds then that's still understandable. But if all the members have about 15-20 seconds of lines and only one member gets LESS THAN 3 SECONDS then that line distribution is kinda concerning to me given that the member in question is the one who has the most number of songs in which he is the last place in line distribution. You all must know by now who I am talking about. It's Yeosang. Also, I wouldn't have been so pressed about it if his voice didn't go well with the song but his voice just suits this song so much. They literally made their other vocalist sing in their deeper tone instead of just making the member who naturally has the deepest tone in the group to sing those parts. I really wanna know if other atinys even noticed this and if they did what are their thoughts on this? The fact that this could've been their title track really scares me

      First, they have 8 member
Second, it's 6 year already, they would know by now the formulation to distribute the line
You can watch in hongjoong show 'i'm on the beat' for reference
Third, yeosang always got a punchlines, he got a lot of good part in every album
Four, it might be himself who asked to not given too many lines
Fifth, they are paid not by how much line they have, so do not worry for yeosang gonna be starving if he got only few lines
Sixth, they love yeosang, Kq love yeosang, ateez member love yeosang, the amount of lines he got not represent the amount of love he received
Seventh, yeosang is a boy that quit from BigHit / Hybe after training for years coz he feel unfair treatment, so don't worry 😊 if he thinks it's unfair, he already quit from KQ long long ago and bring wooyoung with him too 😂😂
Thx for your love & care for yeosang ❤❤❤

@@raisyarasyeeda7781 first of all thank you for sharing your views and I expected people to be a bit sarcastic or mean over this so that's fine. I'll try to explain my thoughts on each of your points one by one.
      1) Guess what? I know they have 8 members. I actually don't stan a lot of groups. The only groups that I am a fan of are BTS and Seventeen. So, I DO know what line distribution looks like for a seven member group and even a thirteen member group. FYI, their line distribution is far better than what I have seen in Ateez's song considering how far they are in their career. I am not going in detail to explain this statement but if you are interested, let me know. Also, read what I said again. I said if all the members have like 20-25 second lines and one member gets like 12-15 second or even 10 second (in case their voice doesn't go with the song) for an eight member group is understandable. The problem is Yeosang has less than 3 seconds while others have on an average 15-20 seconds. They could have easily balanced it out a bit more considering his voice actually fits the song a lot.
      2) Your second point is something that explains what my problem actually is. In the early days of their career, the groups are still new and trying to find what suit each member voice and what are the strenghts of each of their tones. So line distribution during that time can be a bit weird or unbalanced. That's fine. But the thing is that they are already in the sixth year of their career and they still haven't figured out how incorporate all the members in a song is actually quite concerning. Both the groups(other than Ateez) that I am a fan of had some issues regarding line distribution during their early day of the career. But they weren't struggling give more than 5 seconds of lines to a member in their sixth year. You get what I mean?
      3) I'll explain to you what kind of lines Yeosang gets. In most of ateez's songs, Yeosang gets the filler lines- lines in which he doesn't actually sing, he just has to read those lyrics in his deep voice and then they might also put a lot of effects on that(in some songs). Like he doesn't sings those lines, he just speaks. And in the few songs where they actually let him sing(I mean actual singing) he literally shines. For example- halazia, arriba, desire. Also, he hasn't got a lot of good parts in every album.
      4) Are we really talking about this six years into their career? He has literally been openly saying this since 2019 that he wants more lines in their songs(I have proof). He said it himself that he likes the songs in which he has a lot of parts compared to the other songs. Do you still think he himself doesn't want lines?
      5) Not gotta lie, this point of yours really infuriated me. I never mentioned that he is straving Or not getting paid or anything like that. People who think like this are just so materialistic. First of all, these things have greatly affected his confidence and self esteem since debut which he has talked about a lot of times. He literally had to go against his parents and had to do both schooling in one of the most prestigious school in Korea as a science student with good grades while being a trainee just to fulfill his dream of performing on stage because that was the only way his parents would let him pursue his dream. He literally woke up at 7 to go to school which ended around 4 and then he went to bighit at 5 to train till 11. After going through so much struggle can you imagine going into the recording studio to sing for literally 2.5 seconds or standing on the stage just to dance at the back and sing for two seconds? Have you even thought how uncomfortable and embarrassing that can be? Do you understand how it feels when a person is being treated unfairly in their work environment for no reason at all? He has said that "he works really hard but he feels like his hard work isn't rewarded" because how will feel rewarded if he still get 3 seconds to sing in a 3 minutes 20 seconds song. Not everything is about money. It's about his confidence, his self esteem and also his dream at the end of the day which he struggled so much for. Do you know that because he doesn't actually get to sing a lot on ateez's songs, there are lot of atinys who think that he can't sing(which we know is not true) and that is why he doesn't get lines. They think that he is the visual so he is just in the group to look pretty. He became an artist to perform so even if he gets equal money, he deserves an equal chance to sing and perform too just like the other members. I can go on about this point that you made because it really pissed me off but I'll just stop here.
      6) Now where did the 'love' even come from? When did I say that the members don't love him? You really just made this up and went with it. Unlike you, I actually love all the members and I know that they love each other a lot too. I really adore and respect their friendship. And even for the issue that I am bringing up, I am NOT blaming the members. The tracks are made by the producer and the artist is managed by the company. The people that should be held accountable for this are the producers and the company.
      7) Let's stop spreading more misinformation. Yeosang didn't leave bighit because he was being treated unfairly there. He left because bighit kept pushing back the debut of their next boy group and Yeosang just wanted to debut sooner. Also, just like how members love him, he loves them a lot too. He can't leave the group like that. If you know even a little bit about Yeosang, you will know that he is the most kindest person and can never hurt others even if it means that he is hurting. He just isn't that type of a person to leave his group of brother in the middle of a contract. Which is why he has just been genuinely asking for more lines to sing in their songs.
The thing about line distribution is that people think that line distribution only matters because people want to listen to their bias more. But, no. It is actually a really important aspect while making music for groups especially groups with a lot of members like Ateez. It actually shows how well distributed is the group's responsibility because too much or too less responsibility on any member would make it difficult for the group to function properly. For example, every group relies on their main vocalist a lot during performances but they still need to make sure that they are not completely dumping the responsibility on him which is what happens a lot in ateez's case. They rely on Jongho so highly that if he is absent from any performance, the performance itself kind of crashes. Let me explain this to you with the example of seventeen. Do the main vocalists of seventeen have the difficult vocal parts in their songs? Yes. But even when their main vocalist couldn't perform, other members were able to cover for his parts(not only the vocal unit members but also the performance unit members) because they actually make everyone in their group sing. But if the same happened in ateez's case, no one will be covering jongho's parts because they very rarely make other members sing high notes. This causes three problems- first, the group's performance just completely crashes if that member is not there. Second, the other members don't actually get to improve because they are not given the opportunities to sing different parts. Third, it also put a lot of pressure on the said member and takes a toll on him. So, Ateez not letting Yeosang sing in their songs is actually hindering his growth as vocalist and as a performer. My point is line distribution is actually of more importance than the kpop fans think. It plays a very vital role in the group's functioning and longevity.
Thank you for reading such a long comment. You actually mentioned so many point and I had to explain each of them. Hope this helps you see my point. If you have any more thoughts, please feel free to write them. Also, don't worry about me loving Yeosang. I actually love and respect him more than you can think.

@@TS-wr4sq no, you are right, i don't really love all the member, i only have one bias,
And you are right too about me don't know for sure about how important the line distribution for a singer
I'm so sorry that i have to point out that yeosang voice is not stabilize enought to be given a long lines. I agree that his voice are beautiful .
I love his voice even tho he is not my bias, i'm crying everytime i listen to his cover song, he deserve to sing a full song ballad and i will wait for his solo, but its also a fact that his voice always shaky compare to another member, don't brush it off just bcoz he is your bias .
About the 3 second line in Blind , you can sent your complain to KQ, i cannot help you about this coz i never give attention to line distribution, all i know that ateez vocal layer is the best, whats in there and whose vocal layering or singing in the background, its not always appear accurately in the line distribution and its still important task too
Mingi, wooyoung & hongjoong vocal already improve, so im pretty sure yeosang will improve too in the future, its only 6yrs, there is still lot in the future hold for them .
About they will crash if jongho not there, actually its not only jongho, they deliberately make a choreo and song that will need the 8 of them present, its their charm, 8 makes 1

@@raisyarasyeeda7781 Firstly, I would like to compliment you- Loved how when you couldn't defend even one of the reasons that you stated previously after my explanations, you just resorted to blame Yeosang for the mistreatment that he has been facing for 6 years. If I had to sum up your comment in one line, it would be- I love Yeosang but he deserves whatever he gets because he isn't that good.
Now, as for my reply, no where in my comment did I say that you don't love all the members or you have only one bias. You just made that up and went with it. Thank you for loving his voice, crying to his cover and waiting for his solo. The thing you said about his voice not being stable during performances,I can only say one thing- tell me that you didn't watch ateez's live performances without telling me that you didn't watch ateez's live performances. His vocals are very stable and he is also one of the members who actually sing all their lines live. Now, do I think that Yeosang is the best vocalist in the group and deserves all the main vocal parts? No. But do I think that his abilities are that bad that he deserves 3 seconds out of 3 minutes 20 seconds in a song? DEFINITELY NO. Line distribution can never be equal in any group because that's just stupid. All the members have different voices, different strenghts, different abilities and different roles in the group. It's obvious that some are going to have more than others. But the difference between his lines and others is just ridiculous. He isn't even getting the bare minimum. You have heard his cover right? Name me one ateez song where they used yeosang's voice in that same way. He even hit some really good high notes in that song but you can't hear even a gist of that in any ateez song. I never complained to you about blind's distribution. I just pointed out the issue and wanted atinys opinion on it. I am glad that I could explain to you the importance of line distribution. Atleast one of us actually learned something useful from this conversation. Good to know that you still don't care about it in a song. Thank you for saying that hongjoong, mingi and Wooyoung HAVE improved and only Yeosang STILL NEEDS TO IMPROVE. I know all the members are needed but you are living in denial if you don't agree that jongho being absent is more damage than the other members to their performances. But whatever helps you sleep at night. I know all the members abilities really well, I am not one of those fans who thinks bias is the best in everything and deserves all the praise. And I can assure you that with the talent and abilities Yeosang has(since debut), he deserves more than what he has got in most of ateez songs.
Now since you questioned his abilities, I'll explain you this situation in detail. Every group debuts with some good vocalists (or dancers, rappers, etc) and some not so good vocalist. That is why there are positions in a group. Groups have main vocalists, okay vocalists (also called lead vocalist) and sub vocalists(which are usually rapper that can sing a little). Ateez also has the same structure. Jongho- main vocalist, seonghwa, yunho, Yeosang and Wooyoung- vocalists. As far as I know they don't have any official sub-vocalist but I might be wrong(it could be either mingi Or hongjoong Or both). Initially, groups give the difficult or important vocal parts to their main vocalist and the other vocal parts to their vocalists. But they still give them parts and make them sing instead of just excluding them or giving them less than 5 seconds. Later, as they progress in their career(like 4th-5th year) they start switching things up and start making their okay vocalist sing some good and important vocal parts in some songs because that is how they are gonna improve. Now I'll explain this with an example. Consider V Or Taehyung of BTS. He is a baritone just like Yeosang. During the initial years of BTS's career when their music was really hiphop inspired, they struggled to incorporate V's voice and always gave him the growly screaming parts of their songs. Even though they did that still actually let him sing in their softer b-sides. In their third year, they gave him a solo song in their album(stigma) which is a really difficult song to sing and even has a really high note. Thanks to that, he improved. By the fourth year, he actually started getting really good vocal lines in their song(including title tracks) and used his baritone , low, smooth and deep voice to their advantage. The actually understood the opportunities and possibilities to use his voice in their songs in a way that makes him shine. He improved even more. Even when sometimes the songs were really high and difficult for his low range, they still made him sing those high parts. They gave him equal lines. He did struggle a bit during a few of the live performances. Magic shop is the song I am talking about. It was very difficult for his range but they still made him sing those higher parts. His voice cracked a few times during the live performances but he still tried his best and that made him improve even more. This actually made his vocal range so good now he has widest range out of all the members. Even when he was struggling while recording 'friends', Jimin didn't lower the key of the song and made him sing higher. Now, he can sing such great high notes without difficulty. Jin's case was also similar to this. That is how you improve your vocalists. By making them sing. Not by giving them no lines. That's just gonna discourage them and lose confidence. Which is exactly what happened with Yeosang. They kept making him feel like he didn't deserve lines and that he was bad which in turn effected his improvement. Another example that there's no need to always give the high notes to main vocalists. Seventeen has unit called BSS which has three members- DK, Seungkwan and hoshi. DK and Seungkwan are the main vocalists of seventeen and arguably some of the best vocalists in the industry and hoshi is the leader of their performance unit(kind of like dance leader) but when they released their song 'fighting', they gave the only high note to hoshi instead of their main vocalists who are very capable of doing that. It's just to give equal treatment and opportunity to all the members. I guess by now you understood why the way KQ is treating Yeosang is just so ridiculous and infuriating.

Ateez themselves r in charge of line distribution so maybe it's Yeosang himself who doesn't want to get too many lines . Even tho we do want him to get more lines we still gotta respect his choice if it is himself who chooses to not get too many lines till he's ready , this whole drama going on Twitter since the album dropped about how they're "mistreating" Yeosang makes no sense to me tbh 🥲 I just hope he gets more main parts cuz he nailed it in Halazia and Dune
