This au actually make sense wow... You just needed to replace both parents, and with your story it makes sense! Hestia being driven insane is actually believable after all! (Novel spoiler bellow) Hestia near the end of the story loss her reasons of living because Caleus told her to forget revenge. Hestia, who's purpose for her entire life in that world is just to save Caleus and have revenge were flabbergasted. She indeed actually considering suicide. Caleus here also makes me kinda pissed off. After saying that, he leaves her alone instead of supporting her (after all that hestia done for him). At least make time a bit, instead of avoiding her!
