she tried tricking him into admitting to things through her perception of his smartness but you can't get a person who is being honest to go against the truth. he out smarted her by accident. and he bore the brunt of all her previous failures in the case up to that point.

she was also snippy with his friend rachel who is her literal link to finding the glove at rockingham as she corroborates kato's testimony about the thumps and the timeline. however all this is moot the jury was gonna acquit no matter what they admitted it was for rodney king/start stuck by OJ and all that. OJ made in america is a great history of this

shapiro and cochran must've thought to themselves "lol, she's doing the work for us". the harder she tried throughout this trial, the more her case was falling apart. all this while she had to watch shapiro, cochran and oj with smirks on their faces. after seeing kato's testimony up to this vid, i think clark was the major reason for oj's acquittance

Kato was so undermined here. This man was not a professional ANYTHING. Just a random person under the severest scrutiny regarding a situation that was so overwhelmingly beyond his control. Literally a victim of terrible circumstances. Who the hell would want to be involved?! This horrible situation put everyone involved in this case under the microscope . Honestly felt sorry for him. Also, everyone involved in this case (Detectives, family of both victim's, lawyers, OJ, judges)had plenty of opportunities to prosper (books, interviews, movies, ) and last but not least Marcia who really hit below the belt in this.

Mark Fuhrman was the only person in that trial that received any punishment.
He should have received a life sentence for planting evidence, it became obvious that the evidence that they had was enough for a conviction but they wanted more". But: "You don't carry blood evidence to a crime scene and then have a preservative EDTA show up in the blood of the suspect and then having the lead criminalist change the initials on blood evidence collected at Bundy and Rockingham. Lead investigators taking evidence home and then getting caught on video footage after lying. Even the prosecution team at time was guilty of withholding evidence until the last seconds and then trying to squeeze it in. In retrospect this case would have gotten a conviction, but instead it put an entire Justice system on trial for an entire nation to see. Some chose to ignore it as this is how you handle them?, because he's guilty. Others seen the corruption and chose not accept the circumstances under which the evidence was collected and by who. It became obvious that falsifying evidence was a major factor to convict OJ Simpson, but in the end it backfired because the District Attorney's Office chose not to look at the evidence as it was and one witness that told them everything they needed to know about the chain of events that occurred that night. Allan Park was the only creditable witness in that entire trial no motive for anything for or against OJ Simpson. He arrived early by some 20 minutes at 10: 35 he started ringing the gate bell,no answer, he's facing the house 10:45 he's kinda concerned about weather OJ is home; he makes a few phone calls all coincide with the time that he seen a shadowy figure entering OJs house at around 10:53 PM at the same time he spotted Brian Kalain standing in the pathway holding a little flashlight. Allan Park once again calls, this time there's an answer, it's OJ, he said he overslept and just got out of the shower! 6 minutes later OJ is dressed and downstairs luggage outside ready to go. 11:00 pm. There's no way in hell OJ Simpson could have entered that house wash up all that blood and change in six minutes. Who was that person that entered OJs house? That's the question that the District Attorney's Office never wanted to investigate two people involved in this murder case, who was that other person? That's why OJ didn't set the alarm system when he left for the airport, he even asked Kato did he know the alarm systems code; Kato says no. The next time Kato hears from OJ it's 11:40 pm, he forgot to turn on the alarm system. That's the time needed for who ever that was to vacate the resident. Ms Clark's continues to go over and over the same question to a point that Allan Park becomes unsure whether or not he's seen a bronco or not even to the point of admitting under cross examination that he wasn't looking for a bronco, it might have been there! But his timeline was soiled, but instead the chose to waste time on Kato and a bimbo girlfriend who added absolutely nothing to the prosecution's case a total disaster. In the eyes of Justice the eyes aren't blind it's the head that's turned in the other direction and refused to see the truth about a system that will railroad the poor and innocent, because they lack the resources to fight for Justice or in OJs case hire the best lawyers in the country to represent him.
Ms Clark, Darden and that entire prosecution team was totally incompetent in handling this case instead the District Attorney's Office played this case out for court tv justice and got exactly what they deserve exposed as unqualified to handle a case of this magnitude.
They even closed the case files on this murder of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. Where's the Justice in that? Whoever that second person was is still out there!!!

Can somebody explain why the prosecution is suddenly so concerned about Katos living arrangements, questioning why he had such a low rent in the guest house? The low rent was already established by the prosecution themselves, but somehow that didn't raise any red flags until after the trial was well underway? Who thought it was a good idea to bring this up during trial instead of well before? I mean if you've got a star witness to establish the timeline, shouldn't you dig deep enough so that there's no question about that witness' motives and credibility etc? Very poorly handled.

But when you put the part together with the fact that Kato lived with Nicole in a guest house for $475 a month and then when Nicole was to move , she invited Kato to live in a room in her new house - it doesn’t take a genius to figure out OJ made Kato a better offer because he didn’t want Kato living at Nicole’s place for whatever reason .

Out witted by the defense team she will not relinquish her control over the case, other then the science experts she singly questioned just about every witness. The prosecution team lost this case on Ms Clark's greed to prove that she was as tuff as the defense team. Ms Clark child custody battle plus divorce case got in the way of her judgment to prosecute this case. She was using this case to prove that she can do both take care of her family problems and do justice for Two other families in a murder case.

The difference between a limousine and a 'stretch' limousine is a limousine typically is built by the factory as a nice car, a lot of times they're used for funerals... a STRETCH limousine is a regular car, that has been cut in half by a carriage company and then stretched into a longer car. New rails, new side panels, new roof panel, new windows, etc. It's like an aftermarket mod.

I watched this trial in it's entirety when it was aired originally. I have the same thoughts then as I do now however, with the hindsight of 24 years, I understand why I felt the way I did then but time has taught me why I felt the way I did. I believed then, as I do now, that OJ Simpson killed his ex wife and Ron Goldman. The evidence is overwhelming. However, the prosecutor, Marsha Clark, seemed as though she was a novice lawyer. She was distracted and left an evidence trail that was almost impossible to follow. Her case was disorganized and left one searching for the logic in her repetitive questions of the witnesses. Instead of this being about OJ's guilt, it smacked of lawyers dueling as to which one was greater at the art. Marsha had something to prove and it was not that OJ Simpson was guilty, it was that she was a master lawyer. She failed at both. It's not that the dream team was so great, it was that Marsha Clark was so very bad. She lost the largest case of her life not because of the dream team but because of her STERN belief that SHE, was the dream team. Prosecutors always have the upper hand. They have the resources and the money to completely end a persons life, They use their powers, as a state attorney, as if it they were God with infinite and all knowing. In this case, the prosecutor run head long into her own trap. At least she is not serving 30 to life for a mistake in judgement. How many innocent, poor persons had Marsha Clark put behind bars before this happened? I'd like to think of this as justice, all be it in a twisted way. Yes, OJ killed his wife but Miss Clarke will not be his punisher. Marsha Clark was not trying to prove that. She was trying to prove how great she truly is! I can not discount the truly stupid thing the LAPD did as pertaining to evidence custody and Mark Furrman was a nuclear bomb to the prosecution. Why did not Marsha foresee this? If I were a juror, my verdict would have been not guilty. Not because I didn't believe OJ did it but because Marsha Clark did not prove the states case.

@@bain5872 I don't know, it was a *little* bit of a rant lol , but you are informed, rational and use your own head to form an opinion, and explain it well, so thank you for your input :) And you may be right about Marcia Clark, i'm thinking it's either something like the picture you paint about her there OR it's something much more sinister and the reason for her unbelievably disorganized case is that she DID know it was.. I find the idea that she was "novice" etc (as she seems) strange, also we know she gets help from a whole bunch of people and if you see where i'm going it just doesn't make sense and has me looking for other explanations... Anyway i certainly agree and believe that a lot of prosecutors in this world are getting focused on their "job" to convict people, get a target and run with it all the way regardless of.. anything etc etc.. and that when this is the case, it is X times worse than a defense lawyer trying to "win at all cost" because convicting innocents is UNACCEPTABLE... i say let 10++ criminals go free if that's what it takes to ensure 1 innocent doesn't get convicted (there was my rant lol).. And i don't understand how anyone can be so callous as to try to convict people without knowing 100% you're right and losing many nights sleep through the process.. to me being in that position, or even a juror would be a heavy, heavy burden.. And about Marcia Clark, i too have seen things so far, right from the beginning of the preliminary hearings that give me such an impression about her character... i wouldn't let that guide me to an emotional jury-vote though (wagging finger) lol

Ms Clark's lost of control over her witness Kato was just terrible, asking about things that Kato knew nothing about in 1989 or OJs business habits and dating affairs with other women was definitely out of the scope of her questioning. Ms Clark seems to be more interested in who OJ was dating instead of linking him to a reasonable time frame. Instead Ms Clark was pushing the witness to agree on things he knew nothing about. As a result of her line of questioning, even after her failure with Kato Ms Clark continues her attitude toward the other witnesses concerning Kato's conversation with them she even spent more time with the limousine driver questioning him about Kato's demeanor and what was he doing. These three witnesses where very critical to establish a time frame that could have linked OJ to the murders. Ms Clark kept Kato on the witness stand for a week only to badger the witness and try to declare him a hostile witness because he wouldn't say that OJ was upset to her satisfaction. Now she's asking irrelevant questions of Kato's x girlfriend . No wonder they lost this case.

They knew friom the restaurant phone call, what time Nicole called the restaurant around 9:30 about some lost glasses! Ron Goldman was still at work, he left according to co workers at around 9:55 went home and changed drove to Nicole's condo around 10:15 pm and from that point its anybody's guess, but one thing is for sure when a neighbor found the dog with blood on it's paws it was around 11:00 pm they were dead already. The timeline couldn't fit. Between 10:00 to 11:00 is their window, but OJ Simpson couldn't be in a limousine and at a murder scene, that wasn't discovered until 12:15 am. I've heard of that phone call scenario, but if that where true OJs attorneys would have gotten those phone records. "Hey they found those tapes against Mark Fuhrman. They sent investigators to Italy looking for those shoes, most definitely they would have brought those phone records in court had Nicole and her mother were on the phone at eleven o'clock. Just look at who they brought as a witness some bimbo girlfriend of Kato that absolutely had nothing to offer offer then Kato was an honest person. Ms Clark and Dummy Darden were the worst possible prosecution team in the history of jurisprudence.
They literally got outlawed by the defense team on every witness even Rosa Lopez made Darden look stupid instead of sticking to the time she saw the Bronco it ened up about her collecting unemployment and her immigration status as a permanent resident of 23 years and a weeks worth of testimony never was heard by the jurors. She got to go to El Salvador after all. I can't believe that after all these years this trial still has the attraction it had almost 30 years ago.
It's a cold case file now that will never be challenged, because the DNA evidence doesn't match from Bundy that they collected at OJs resident.
"They blood typed the Bundy crime scene and DNA OJs blood evidence at his residence. That's why in their closing Ms Clark was trying to explain DNA instead of the experts. I wish ,I could have seen the faces of those jurors during the closing arguments, because the look of the people who were in that courtroom was like what the #u@k is the prosecution talking about. This was a murder trial, not a domestic violence case.

In fairness, had the limo driver caught OJ coming home, his attorneys would have just concocted a story about him being somewhere else.
The thing is, its moot. Id bet my life that there is NO evidence that could have been introduced that would have made that jury find OJ guilty. They were blinded by three things. Celebrity, race, and distrust for the LAPD, not necessarily in that order lol. Even before Fuhrman and race, Tom Lange stated everytime he looked at the jury when he testified, he received looks back of distain.
While we all can Monday morning quarterback, I dont think they would ever have convicted him. Its absurd with the CRAZY amount of evidence there was. These murders were some of THE WORST ive ever seen committed, and I dont even mean in terms of gore. OJ did a TERRIBLE job that night. Literally the only thing he did right was getting rid of most of the clothes he wore.

Allan Park’s got quite the cocky attitude for a minimum wage limo driver.

David kayto really had favor with people a 30 something year old man living with a wealthy celebrity for free after not really knowing him. Andl living with OJ ex and children after meeting Nichole in the Aspen with a group of her frta few years prior. He only paid Nichole $500 and babysitting. He also received free counsel and representation from multiple lawyers with the promises of if he makes it 😂. Wow this has got to be the luckiest man in history. I paid $600 for a shitty apartment

Look how she is attacking her own witness, the prosecutor had a habit of doing this throughout this trial same kind of adittude with the limo driver and several others. The problem is that everyone is trying to make money even the prosecution team had secret book deals but she's asking the witness the same thing that her and sorry Darden who started crying after they blew the case, but they made money on the case.
No wonder they lost the case.

Rachel Ferrara sounds so cocky and uptight. How did Kato put up with her?

People you are forgetting Kato is one of the important witnesses in this trial. Other than Mark Furhman. He hears the thumps on his walls. So, that ties into the timeline. Also, other than the limo driver, and airport workers, they saw Simpson before he left for Chicago. If OJ committed these murders and that bloody crime scene I was always astonished at how he cleaned up so quickly and took care of a cut on his finger that it wasn't noticeable to people at the airport.
