Thank you for showing us this. So many people, so many outfits, so much design fit into just 2 pages! Thank you for showing us your process and I love the colors you used!!!
Going to learn to Frankenstein! To think how much pressure that takes off from assuming I need to create a true likeness for an acceptable true portrayal of the experience. Frankenstein Pages!!!
Good morning Koosje. I love your videos. This one was too short for me. I love your book, have read through it twice, when I need inspiration I pick it up. Have a wonderful day. 😅
One day or some day is not one of our seven week days…. Just saying! Why don’t you pick up your sketchbook and a pen and do it right now, today? And if you don’t feel courageous enough, ask a friend you trust to go have coffee with you, and sit next to you while you do a quick sketch?
I was happy and surprised to see that you were in Santa Fe. My family is from New Mexico, and my mom spent 20 years living in Santa Fe. She was the HR manager at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum when they opened up years ago. It's such a truly wonderful place and a great artists' haven.
Been twice to Santa Fe, if I were rich I would move from Scotland to New Mexico. I just love it there. I imagine your workshop was wonderful. This 'departure' drawing is so full of life and love. Thank you for sharing with us Koosje ❤❤❤
Once again, most excellent! Have you tried the (disposable) Pentel Sign Pen Micro Brush Artist? It makes the thinnest lines I’ve seen so far. Similar to the Kuretake Ai Liner. But alas it’s not a refillable. 😢
Hi Koosje , "ENVY " is not a good word and I always try to avoid it . I follow you keenly and I have heard many times the advice involving practise etc and I'm sure its all good and accurate advice , but after watching your videos there are times that I do come very ,very close to that "E" word !!!!!! Thank you , so much for all that you give me , Mike in Exeter , UK , xx
Mike, I get it. There are artists whose work I look up to and their work - instead of feeling envy, I aspire to draw like them. I am always looking to learn, expand my skills and grow as an artist.

You are so welcome!
Yes, this does inspire me, especially the Frankensteining.
I hope you get to Frankenstein a lot

Glad you enjoyed it!

Seems like the book was too short too 😜
I love your videos! Your sketches are so inspiring and full of life
Thank you so much!
This looks so much fun. An interesting market, overwhelming, I feel that too at times when the view is all jumbled and disordered. Love your sketch. 😊
Lots of fun!
Thank you Koosje, you always inspire me, I have still need to pluck up the courage to draw on location….. maybe one day! 🥰xxx
Maybe if you do it with at least one other person it might be less daunting?

I’ve been to that market❤ I’ve been to NM twice. It truly is the Land of Enchantment!
☺️
I was fascinated by the poet at his typewriter. Have a great day!!
Me too! I should have asked him for a poem.
Always happy when Tuesday rolls around!
Me too ☺️

Me and the group of students were all very inspired there!
I love your sketch. It is so interesting to watch you sketch on location. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

I’m looking forward to my first visit to Scotland this summer!
Very cool! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!

I tried it but it’s too thin for my heavy handed sketching
Thank you for sharing this incredible inspiring video Koosje❤ much love Fee
Glad you enjoyed it!
Moving to Tucson shortly and can't wait to meet you at your next event!
Good luck on the move!
Koosje, this is wonderful, and as a New Mexican I am contractually obligated to point out that our state vegetable is chile (not chili).🌶️ 😂
😂
Oh! Good one! I was there for too short of an amount of time (and in an art workshop bubble) to even realise...
My wife and I got married in Santa Fe. We were just back there in April for our 25th, just missed you.
Congratulations!

Too timid to draw in front of others.
You can also sit in a corner in kind of an invisible way. It’s how I got started too.
