Right?! Pure artistry.
Crazy how for a while I listened to every beastie album besides Paul’s boutique, now Paul’s Boutique is the only album I listen to by them.
Paul's Boutique -- lyrically, second to none. Ever. Anywhere. Every song is genius. No two songs even close to being the same. I wore two copies of this cassette out -- fried, melted, not even "spool it with a pencil" fixable.
I'm not a huge Beasties fan but Paul's Boutique is one of the best hip hop albums of all time.

Please listen some more!
@@annhitchcock3093 oh I have... I bought their first album in grade eight and never missed a single one during my entire life. I know their catalogue extremely well.
1:03 that bass.
You are 100 % on point
Oh hell yes
Shawn Russell
Xtra funky
funky ass line
It’s a bass loop on Norman Cook/Fatboy Slims “Skip To My Loops” Sample CD, He also made a remix of of Beastie Boys “Body Movin”
The older I get the more I appreciate this band. I mean I LOVED them growing up but chefs kiss to them still.
I skipped class to listen to this on cassette when it first came out. Vivid memories of that day. Any other recollections of that timeframe?
Nope- just this…
loved them from the Beginning,, one of the only Rappers to NOT use curse words or to put women down,,, although i like alot of rap,, its just amazing they never did that.
Upmost respect for these guys as a metalhead. They knew how to groove with rap and rock. Master producers and knew how to play instruments as well. 🤘🔥💖
Still three of the best mc,s in hip hop today there are not many mc,s just rappers
Happy 35th birthday to Paul’s Boutique!
I always wanted to know what video game Mike D was playing at 3:19.
I love that Beck sampled them and they sampled him back
It's funny to me all the praise Paul's Boutique has gotten over the years. When this album dropped everyone was calling it wack. Every critic, every fan.
I think god for this group. Amen??
This is off my husband's all time favorite album. We play it for our 1 year old and she's bustin moves 🥰
Back then was all about being yourself, unique, and about attitude. Now you gotta follow rules and trends otherwise you're not cool. The irony is you're cool only when you're yourself.
All the more reason to bring that shit back
One of a kind. They will never be duplicated.
I’ll go to my grave saying Paul’s Boutique is the greatest hip hip album of all time. Every sample is just immaculately placed and crafted beautifully around each verse/chorus. It’s a masterpiece.
gawd these names and avatars
looks and sounds like all our shit
I can’t lie this is dope.
Only the Beasties could be like, "Let's just set up a few cameras and good around" and have it be an iconic video.
Paul's Boutique was such an underrated album, I thought it was funky.
DJ Crash great album I have it on picture disc 🤘🏼😷🤘🏼
And it's got a cool beat and i can really bugout to it..
their best
I always thought it was a massive album, I had no idea it flop as bad as it did at the time
It was their best!
We been throwin this down since 89.❤🎉😊 Shake your Rumpahhh!!!+++++
Dude, you put an equivalent amount of work into this video, thank you.
1:55 I never noticed The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and Hot Rocks in the bottom left corner!
You know the rest of your day is golden
once you blare this live love to others.
Greatest Beastie Boys album ever
Amazing song still .....46 and blasting them STILL !! Oh and never seen produce section like that in my area 🤣🤣
Hearing this track remastered in 2024 on a bad ass set of headphones is what I wanted so badly as a kid rocking out to this. Sounds awesome ♥
The Drums The Trio Rapper Makes Me Can't Stop To Listening
so simple, yet one of my favorite videos of all time. No matter how many times i listen to this song, it never gets old, the amount of different beats and samples in the beastie boys songs is just stupid crazy
MCA had the greatest voice ever.
all beastie boy have greatest voice :)
Goldberg's have all the good Beastie songs.
Nope. I think Ad Rock and Mike D had better voices but all of them are dope. Rest in peace MCA.
chali 2na, be mint if he did something with them
He also has a beard like a billy goat
