the Deft's scene i remebered it so well, i watched it in live and i cried so much. That day was his birthday and it was the quarter finals of the Worlds 2022 against EDG and they won. It was a truly touching moment

@@zeusismydaddy iirc ROX Tigers was where Peanut originally started gaining some recognition back in 2016? , and HLE acquired ROX's slot in the LCK years ago. So he won after coming back to ROX (kinda) which is kinda cool.

Watching LCK Finals and seeing the players' mothers in full cheer mode had me emotional as well. It reminded me of Caps' Dad showing up to G2 games even after all these years.

I started watching TSM back in 2012 because of a guy playing Maokai called TSM TheOddOne.
11 years later I am watching Worlds yet again. Europe, or the west, has yet to win a World Championship, but I've watched Worlds every single year, even watching the ones I missed in Season 1 and 2, and looking at all the great moments, speeches, upsets, dissapointments, winners, favorites, cool plays, sick mechanics, tragic macro, chanting ward kills, and game ending backdoors, I can say that I've never been this captivated by any sport like this in my life. League of Legends is my football, my NBA, my Champions League, my SuperBowl. I will always tear up when I see how hard they try, and how close some teams get to winning, and I'll be there when the West wins that first World Championship (basement championship don't count).
That chovy / faker teaser last week gave me goosebumps and wet my eyes.
Can't wait for the finals this weekend.
I wish ticket to the stadium were reasonable...

this is from "OTP" a french league of legend casting channel and adc from SGB "shogun" became a meme because of "trayton" one of the french caster that had to be awake at 4am to solo casting Worlds playin and he started to scream "SHOGUN TONIGHT" after shogun did insane play. After that everytime shogun carried the game the whole cast was transforming into a party while screaming "SHOGUN TONIGHT"
@@Redingote- the meme "shogun tonight" actually comes from a french reality-tv show "les chtis" in the 2010's. They were shouting this whenever they were partying that's why they put electro music in the otp cast
