This is a RIDICULESSLY basic issue, but, How Copy BETWEEN files? The basic steps; Try Ctl-C (or %-C on Mac): 1, Select entities to copy; 2, Ctl-C 3, Select Reference point; 4, switch to another drawing; 5, Ctl-V 6, Select a target point; Hmm! just worked. Works between Notepad & Web...now, between 2-LibreCAD files, that 's my problem. I eagerly await your suggestions. Thanks!
Ctl-C, Ctl-V works if the two documents are opened in separate tabs in the same application window, but does not seem to work if the documents are opened in different windows. Go to Options -> Application Preferences -> Defaults tab, and make sure that Start in tab mode is ticked. Close all LibreCAD windows and restart LibreCAD. Open the two documents you want to work with. Now Ctl-C, Ctl-V should work.
